Feels like I’m taking crazy pills… help? Would you still level it based on these photos?

I recently purchased and put on 37” Yokohamas on my stock Rubicon wheels.

At the same time I purchased a Teraflex 1.5” leveling kit, because with the stock tires there was definitely a difference between the front and rear fender heights.

Now that I have 37s on, it really doesn’t look like I need the leveling kit? I measured in a few places near my house in order to have the car as level as possible, and the front is maybe 1/4” lower.

Would you still level it based on these photos?

Looks level the way it is. I wouldn't add anything that wasn't needed if it was mine.

Looks level now..ide leave it be and see how it settles out after a couple days. I’ve noticed that the Jt looks a little taller after letting the springs expand while its on the lift at a shop. And they settle out after a day or two

Looking at the picture, I think it still has the same rake but it being taller and the tires filling more of the fender gap it makes it less obvious. The only reason i'd level it would be because with 37's no lift you will rub like crazy sway bar disconnected. If thats not a concern, then 37's will be fine sway bar connected.

I wouldn't, but I also prefer the factory rake so that I don't squat when hauling things.

I’m not going to be doing a ton of difficult wheeling. Mostly trails and low to medium difficulty stuff. Ultimately, I think I will get a lift, maybe 2 inches or so. I thought that I would get the leveling kit for now, but this is an issue I didn’t think I would have.

What would explain the rake being less noticeable? Is it really just a trick of the eye?

Look at the top of the cab compared to the window, and then the back sliders compared to the curb, the angles are basically the same between the 2 pictures

It has to be an optical illusion due to the wheel wells being more filled. I like the look with the wheel wells filled in with the larger tires. I was planning on 35s but I really like the looks of those 37s. No rubbing lock-to-lock?

Are you not getting any rub at all? This has me kicking myself for not jumping on that deal. Went on a couple day trip and had them in my cart, think they pulled it the day I got back.

Most of the rubbing has gone away after I added some washers to the steering knuckle bolt. But there still a tiny bit on the frame rail when I go full turn and up a steep driveway. I think a mild spacer would solve that issue. I just don’t want to go with a big lift because my truck is my daily driver and my wife and girls are short.

It's most likely because the backspacing is so high on stock wheels. I had 0 offset and had no rubbing on 37s unless I unlocked the swaybar.

That’s a good point. A 3/4” or 1” spacer would likely resolve this, correct?

Most likely, I think even with stock wheels the minimum spacer might be 1.25 or 1.5 to not cut lugs. The lugs are just under 1.75 inches long, so youd want to measure the pocket depth of the stock wheels and then subtract that to figure out minimum non cutting spacer length, assuming you don't want to cut lugs.
