Finally! 2023 Diesel Gladiator

I finally picked up my diesel Gladiator yesterday! I originally went to purchase in April and recall came through 2 days before I was to sign the paperwork. I’m in dealerships every day (vendor) so I’ve been getting updates for a while. Parts came in Wednesday and they had it done the same day. Couldn’t pick it up until Saturday though. Parts are rolling in and dealers are taking care of the lot inventory 1st. My 1st Jeep so I’m pretty excited. My Tundra has 310k but I’m keeping it since the dealer didn’t want to give me anything for it. Lol

Congrats. You’ll find that the more you drive the diesel the more you ’ll like. Besides the mpg, if you step on the pedal, it takes off. I absolutely love the engine sound. Sounds so much more like a truck than the V8 in my last Chevy.

Making me really wish I'd got a diesel. Like really bad. But I'm pot committed on this 2020 and have too much invested in it to spend more money on a newer one. Too many upgrades done on it. I'm just going to do an engine swap at some point.

The pickup really surprised me. My 20yr old son had to drive it home for me as I was in my company car. He had a big grin on his face and loved the sound of the diesel!

Congrats on the diesel , My first one also and I love it , Went in to look at a 6-speed Mojave and hated it (Just my opinion) - Just as I was going to leave they asked if I'd be interested in a diesel and they were just pulling it out front - I believe it was my lucky day , Time will tell , But I too was suprized at the stock power night and day compared to the gassers , ?

You will love it. I got impatient when Gladiators first arrived, and no diesel so I went with Wrangler & 3.6. Finally corrected that decision in Jan with a 2022 Glad diesel. I have owned wranglers for 20yrs, and this is by far my favorite Jeep.

I leased a 2015 Grand Cherokee with the diesel, I couldn't find a diesel when the lease was up and went with a Grand Cherokee gasser and was disappointed every time I drove it. When I decided to buy a Gladiator it was a no brainer, I wouldn't have a Gladiator if I couldn't have the diesel.
