The price is irresistible, NEW 2023 Gladiator/Rubi Diesel. $18,000 off MSRP

I have a gas Gladiator and love it, so much fun, I will never be without a jeep again but the Diesel. I want it bad Im not worried about DEF, but has Jeep massaged out the 3.0 issues for 2023?
I've been driving Jeeps for over 30 yrs and bought my JTRD towards the end of the year with the same type of discount! (IMO this is an easy decision - buy one while you can!) Even without the price reduction, I kick myself for the several years of lost happiness by not buying one sooner! I sold a 3.6/auto/modified and wouldn't go back to a gasser now. If you're buying one from a dealer, the fix will be done, but in truth look at the actual percentage of problem vehicles vs amount sold and then look at the issues that also come with the 3.6 (they really even out). Mileage is great, this is a work horse with awesome torque and an added benefit of a huge smile factor!

How many trips to the dealership did the "growing pains" entail, pray tell.
It also depends on the dealer. I wouldn't set foot at my local Jeep dealer for an oil change, let alone anything more complicated than that.

Thumbs up on the diesel.

We love our JT diesel! Get one! My wife drives it more than me so when I saw the discounts you’re talking about I started trying to convince her to get another. Get the diesel! It puts the gassers to shame on the trails and the highway.

I once towed a trd pro tundra up a snowy slushy and muddy hill with ours. My brother in law took a picture, and I’ve been begging him to send it to me so I can post it on here but he “doesn’t want to embarrass the Tundra”

Yes. Yes I would. Too bad they don't have them in the 24 model.

I have had no issues with my 2023 Sport S. Had the HPFP recall done, no drama. Torque for days. I would not have bought the gas Gladiator in any package after test driving one, but my daughter (a mechanic and diesel fan) suggested I take the diesel for a spin. Changed everything and 15K miles later I'm still a happy camper.

I have a ‘22 Rubicon diesel. Love it. Tons of low end torque which is great if you wheel your jeep. I run 37’s on it and there is no need to re gear unless you’re going bigger.
53,000 km on it and 0 issues so far besides a plug being loose for my diff lockers (quick and easy fix)
Just had the recall done and it’s been good.

However only get the diesel if you have longer drives. If most of your driving is around the city you will eventually have aftertreatment issues with it. Also servicing the diesel will be a bit more expensive.

You will also find that you have a few less options for lift kits as the diesel should be running a different spring rate. Some people get by with a regular kit and spacer lifts.

All I know is if anything happened to my jeep I’d still buy another diesel gladiator

They have a recall for the CP4 pump. Unknown if it "fixes" the issue. No clue if your 2023 will have it from the factory or not.
I recently had mine replaced per the recall. But the service manager did say that they were sitting on inventory that needed the pump replaced before they could sell them. He no longer works there so take it for what it’s worth.

I really wanted an EcoDiesel. I test drove one before buying my 2023 Gladiator five weeks ago: it drove nice; tons of torque, but I didn't like that it stunk like hell.

Things were fine as long as we were moving, but as soon as I came to a stop or was idling on the lot, a strong stench of diesel took over. I was surprised to be honest.

Then I read all of issues the EcoDiesel has had; some of which are still unresolved.

I ended getting a gasoline Gladiator instead. The Pentastar engine is proven; runs quietly and smoothly. No regrets.
I’ve never smelled diesel odors from mine. Neither has my wife and she can detect a fart from 50 yards away.

I had a 2020 Gladiator with the 3.6 and now have a 2022 with the 3.0 diesel and absolutely love it. I wouldn't hesitate to do it.

15% off is crazy. See its nationwide now looking. If there was an Earl or Bikini released for this deal I would be all over trading my white in.

Looks like there is pumpkin available... Its got me thinking.

This is my 2020 JL Rubicon on 35’s with 3.73’s. Zero issues. Mileage is consistent.
