I appreciate you providing data to support your conclusions. That is most helpful.
However, was your research submitted for peer review before being published?

OP, you are entirely wrong with the conclusions of your data... my proof is I roll on 35" Baja Boss M/T's...

Anybody want to take some control arm angle measurements?

Be interesting to see stock, lifted, and lifted with brackets comparisons.

You would need to also track the amount of lift from stock. That means they need to know the stock measurement and then how much the lift gained them. Can't just say a " 3" lift " as that might be under 3 for some JTs and well over for others.
I have 2" lift springs under the front of my JT but didn't get 2" Someone with a stock Sport and these 2" springs may be well over 2.
I know exactly how much mine changed because I measured from hub center to fender flare..
That way no matter what size tires I have or how much air I have in them, I am measuring only the amount of lift for the truck and nothing else.

Anyway, all that is to say - they'll only be kind of close, maybe, due to lift differences.

I will be doing another set of brackets this time on my daughters JL after Christmas. Then I will have a 2nd set of the MOPAR extended arms to sell and rear TF geo brackets used 3 days , local pick up. I can take some measurements then if no one else has

Ideally you would have exact lift heights. But even if you just had several different angle measurements for stock height on the different models, that would be a good start for data. You could at least compare to stock.

What no sense of humor from your moms basement. What autocorrect never changed a word on you that you didn't see. Your just a internet troll always want to bash someone regardless. I bet you go bed telling yourself your perfect...lol. And far from back tracking I still think you don't need them.
Just an observation:

One doesn’t stick around and comment as much as he does and not get in trouble without being a wealth of knowledge to the community.

On the other hand, some folks are homeschooled and just done come off right. People skills, commentary…etc.

I work a crazy amount of hours absolutely squeezing my brain. Every now and again I’ll post something that comes off in an unintended way and when I come back to it I’ll fix it. It’s those that don’t or won’t be flexible for clicks or whatever that don’t last here. There are enough salty folks here that understand that, but also will lean into someone that just won’t let something go. I’m not saying I’m saying, but I’m just saying if you know what I’m saying.

The best or easiest way I see it, not taking into account the added benefit of squat/dive correction is do you want impacts to your frame or spring and shock. The more horizontal or flat the control arm the more the spring and shock will absorb imperfections, dips, rocks, 2x4’s or what ever you choose to drive over. The steeper the arms get away from horizontal, the more the imperfection impact gets driven into or transferred to the frame. Do you need’em…no. You don’t need shocks or springs either, but they make the ride mo-beda…

Another way to see it, some good info and data here:

I have ran brackets for a couple of years... the 2.5 EVO lift I have came with brackets that dropped the arms 2.5 inches. (I found the lift produced more like 3.5 inches of lift. But I don't need to tell you all of that.... its free info...)
I did hit the passenger side bracket and it did fold over about 1/4 inch of the bottom of the bracket across a 1/2 inch area on the outside. It was while doing Metal Masher in Moab. It took about 3 min of doing a little shave on the sharp edge and some bending to recover from. I do run some trails with scraping sounds.... but never had any serious damage to the brackets. I like the way my truck drives on the highway with them on. That's my data...
