Hey yall! Not sure how to title this but hoping someone can help. I recently was getting the death wobble. Mechanic said my stabilizer was shot and that was probably the cause. Sure enough my stabilizer was shot. I decided to get a new upgraded stabilizer as well as a Synergy tie rod, drag link and upgraded ball joints. I had to also get a steering stabilizer relocation bracket as noted by synergy. I has them installed. Upon getting my jeep back the shop said they didnt end up needing the relocation bracket. The death wobble was gone but the alignment was a hair off. I figured no biggie ill go back and have it realigned soon. Not to long after I starting noticing that when I hit bumps or waves in the road the steering is hard to handle. When at higher speeds I dont feel comfortable taking both hands off the wheel not that I should lol. When I hit waves in the road at higher speeds it feels like my jeep is in a weird rocking position. A few times my anti traction/slip light comes on. The wheel/front end is pulling me in different directions. My jeep feels unsafe to drive now. My friend who is a mechanic thinks they might not have installed the stabilizer incorrectly. I went by les schwab to have them align it recently and they said they have to take my stabilizer off to do it which i thought was odd. Note I had to tires installed as well but same size as previously. Any insight would be appreciated.

Looks like you have the drag link top mounted without their track bar relocation to match the top mount drag link. Your track bar and drag link seem to be on different planes from the photos, this will cause wander and an unplanted feeling in turns. How much lift are u running? Top mount is usually for above 4” lift. Stabilizer looks okay, but the track bar axle mount looks crushed some from the bolt, not sure if that’s just the photo tho. That could cause some binding in your track bar pivoting.

Thanks for the info. Im running a 3.5” lift. Yeah im going to get there track bar relocation bracket and see if that helps. Seems like it will. Ill take a look at the track bar axel mount too and see if it is crushed.

It’s not a great sign that the shop that installed the draglink flip didn’t know a raised Trackbar bracket would be required. Hope it works out for ya.

to echo on this, a steering stabilizer will NEVER be the cause of DW. In a perfect world stabilizers aren't needed. They can help to mask another issue and prevent DW, but they'll never be the cause of it. Like saying your band-aid is the cause of your papercut.

Trac-bar and draglink should be at the same angle or extremely close. If you raise one you have to raise/adjust the other to match. Worn suspension components, lose bolts, caster too low, can all contribute to DW.

At 3.5”, I’d put your drag link back to bottom mount.
