What about spouses heights?

I’m 6’2” with a 34” inseam
Wife is only 5’1”

Will she be even more uncomfortable after the mod?

I'm 6 feet even with 32 inch inseam and went with the shorter ones. Feels great to me. I haven't had anyone in the passenger seat since installed but I'll see what a 5'4" girlfriend thinks of them this weekend.

Did you wife elaborate as to why she did not like them? My wife is 5'3 she hates the seats. I am afraid the jackers will raise the front up to much for her to reach the pedals comfortably. Considering slammers. I am 5'10.
