Here is the non-Rubicon version of the full-time (auto) transfer case, called Selec-Trac in a non-Rubicon ->
In the same post for comparison - this is the full-time (automatic) transfer case in a Rubicon ->
The knobs will have the same positions, you use the lever and shift it the same, the automatic part (full-time part) works the same. But they are geared differently, etc.
And this is a non-Rubicon Command-Trac standard part time only transfer case -
For the Rubicon without the full-time transfer case, it would simply say "Rock-Trac" without the "full time" part after it.
