Where are you mounting your fire extinguishers? I was thinking I could mount a 2 1/2 lbs. on the roll bar between the bar and cab. Boy was I wrong, no room at all. Really thought there was more room there. Kind of looking at the front of the storage box on the outside right above the tunnel hump.
Whats your thoughts or locations?

I mounted mine on the rear driver side roll bar using an "Adjustable Aluminum Roll Bar Fire Extinguisher Mount Holder" I got on Amazon. I mounted the bracket upside down so the release pull is inward.

Where ever you decide, think about and practice how you will get to it. Ive watched rigs burn because while an extinguisher was mounted, you couldnt get to it quick past all the crap in the way.

A place ive always liked is right under the drivers knees, nothing stopping you from grabbing it as you exit.

Mine is sitting in the storage bin next to the first aid kit that's loose as well. Awkward!

I started investigating fire extinguishers a couple weeks ago (shortly after getting my JTR), but didn’t see any mounting solutions that I liked. Ideally, the placement should be at the bottom leading edge of the driver‘s or passenger front seat for quick access. Mounting in the bed or along the roll bar seems like a poor choice.

I have one of these in the netting in my driver door.
I just mounted one of my Element fire extinguishers on the driver's seat adjustment bar so its right under my legs.

I used two 1/2" split shaft collars that I drilled and tapped for a 10-32 screw. I used the screw to attach the shaft collar to the plastic bracket and clamped onto the seat adjustment bar.

Its the first mod to my new Overland (147 miles now)

Velcroed to a homemade bracket on the drivers rear roll bar. Note: there are torx screws there to help with mounting stuff.
