Exactly
Thats why I don't pay attention to what it does on a 2 lane road. 3 lane or more ensures a test on a level surface vs a crown.

It continued to pull left once I got on the freeway (3+ lanes) regardless of which lane I was in.

I had the same problem with drifting left, ended up being the toe was off on one side quite a bit from the factory. I had it adjusted and the issue went away.
Thanks. I am hoping it's similar and it will be resolved once I get it realigned after the lift kit. I just wanted to make sure it's not something more critical before hand. I hate for it to be something else and get rejected by the dealer because I have installed a lift kit.

I have a 2020 Overland. It would wonder all over with the stock tires/wheels. You had to keep 'on it' all the time. I mentioned it to the local Jeep/Ford dealer service department advisor I have known for years. He said there is a bulletin that allowed for a replacement from the stock aluminum gearbox over to the steel gearbox. They did the change and it now drives nice and straight.

I can not say if the 21's and 22's now come with the steel gearbox.

I’m actually having the same issue with my new gladiator. If I let go of the wheel it’ll quickly drift to the left. I’ve taken to the dealership with no fix yet. They rotated the tires and checked the alignment. The dealership said they know it still isn’t correct and are waiting to hear back from Jeep on what to do next.

OP says pulling left at end of video is the issue. That part doesn't appear normal. Could be alignment is off

Truck is currently at the shop getting lift, steering system, shocks, stabilizer and alignment. I hope this will take of the issue.

So is this issue resolved? it's been a month since you went to the shop for a lift.

It took almost a month to resolve. Got the lift and shocks as well as sector support done. It was still pulling left. Had the shop realign and it's almost gone. It's much better now.

Your opening line says it all...first jeep. You are not familiar or use to a jeep. Keep in mind this vehicle was meant for off-roading. It's not going to ride, handle, etc. like a pickup or car. I have owned 5 since 1976. They are an off-road vehicle. You say you're going to modify the suspension. It will handle even more different. You opened yourself to a new and pleasing experience. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Really? Why not?
Mine does. Most do. Mine drives and handles like a lot of other vehicles I've owned and there's really no reason for it not to. It's when you start with the mods that all bets are off.
Mine actually had a very very nice ride and is so easy to drive that we've turned it into a daily driver. We've been all over with it - Indiana, Colorado, among other places, mountain roads, flat straight highways of Indiana. It drives so nice even my wife, used to a Grand Cherokee with IFS and rack and pinion steering, likes driving this truck.
It's really not "meant" for anything other than normal driving - it DOES off-roading and does it well, but it's a great highway vehicle, too.
Frankly, I don't see a lot of difference between this and my other trucks (other than they were heavier, wider and more aerodynamic)

Mine has seen some speed on the open road - never was bothered by it. Solid and stable.
Why not? You can design a vehicle to go off road and be good on the highway, too.
Even the local dealership service advisor said these should drive and handle like another truck.

Mine is all stock steering, with the updated steering gear, and I see no issues with it on the road.

Mine, when stock, drove, handled, and had a better ride than my 2017 GMC Canyon SLT 2wd. I had the issue with the AL steering gear case and it wandered a little, but once that was replaced, it was rock solid. I have owned 9 other Jeeps, and all except the ones that were lifted or modified handled great, just like any other truck.

Just remember though, a truck will not handle like a car...
