Hello! This will be my first time changing the oil on my Gladiator, before this I only did it in Toyota.
What is the best oil to take? Mobil 1, Castrol, Shell, Siskzk or engine oil Apex Spark 0W-16 SP

I use Amsoil and have used it exclusively for 20 years. I have used Mobil 1 prior to that without issue. I have put Castrol in a few engines for people that I know, and I don't see them having any problems. If the oil meet the specifications called out and you change it when it is due ( or sooner), you should be fine.

On your list, I would pick Castrol or Mobil 1, unless you have the 3.0l. Then I would go the the Shell for the diesel from your list.

Not sure what you mean by "best oil to take" - take it where?

Your question is like asking what's the best religion. Whatever anyone is using will be what they say is best. To say otherwise is admitting they may not be using the best.

The stock oil in the 3.6 gas engine is basically Pennzoil 0w20 and it's what many of us use. That's what the dealer would put in, that's what the factory puts in, that's what I put back into our Jeeps.

Otherwise, on my performance cars, I have used Mobil 1 and a few times, a bio-syn oil in a larger V8 I have
(I won't even mention the oils I used before that because oil technology and chemistry has changed a lot since the 1990s so it won't matter.)

is also highly rated - both in "user "mine is best"" and in actual testing.

I would not be afraid of Pennzoil, Mobil 1 or Amsoil 0w20 in these.

Biggest thing to watch out for is really the oil filter - how you change that, or actually how you put that back together!
That's the bigger discussion, IMO.

As long as it says it meets MS-6396 specs on the bottle you'll be alright.

I use pennzoil ultra platinum.

That pretty much wraps it up - and if you log your oil changes, keep receipts for the oil and filters, maybe take a picture of the oil being put back in, then they don't have much of a leg to stand on if something does happen under warranty as far as "it's the oil you use" or BS like that.

What he said above - and write it all down and keep receipts if you do it yourself.
You can also log maintenance you do yourself on the Jeep web site under 'my garage' - that's where you are supposed to be able to see dealer performed maintenance although around here they don't often log stuff in there or it doesn't show up for some reason.

I hold the receipts by the odometer and take pics of them together then upload them to the carfax app. ?

I smell a BOT post that just joined yesterday. Shell branded passenger vehicle non-diesel oils are not really known or used widely here in the states and he lists "Siskzk" which appears to primarily be a Chinese market motorcycle oil.
