Well, guess it finally had to happen. I have Crosby 3/4” shackles on the front and rear bumpers. Just noticed this weekend that some douche boosted one of my rears. Thinking it was during our overnight stay in Sedona last weekend.

Other than a few drops of loc-tite, what are folks using as anti theft?

I'm sure it was some yack a$$ in a parking lot. I bet red lock tight would solve the issue, for that.

Take my shackles off when not offroad for this very reason.
Why leave them on at all when not off-road other than ......... never mind. Leave no loose parts that someone can simply lift and walk away with - not even needing any tools. I don't even leave a ball mount in place for that very reason. I could show off that I tow - but then be missing an expensive piece of hardware next time I visit Menards.

Never even considered someone might steal mine. Might have my brother put a tack weld on mine tomorrow, if they're still there that is.

Yeah, I get it....Loose parts have actually crossed my mind many times, but guess I think humankind is better than it actually is and weighed that versus the “cool factor”.

I’m more bent on the fact that someone messed with my stuff.

Put some stainless safety wire on the pin, where only one was missing could also be the pin loosened and fell out.

Hmmmmm...never really even thought of that. I check them regularly but we had been wheeling pretty hard in Flag and Sedona and could have bounced it loose.

Faith in humanity partially restored 😁......with a dab of blue or red.

EXACTLY - makes one feel violated. Like when our Christmas decorations were taken from the front yard - 25' from our front window. Some of them we had JUST BOUGHT 3 days before. It was bad enough it was gone - a week before Christmas no less, but we felt so - well, you know - someone was HERE and messed with our stuff and drove away with it.
