For some of us, north should always be up...

Is it possible to reprogram the factory nav screen so it always shows north as up??

Interested to see if anyone has a solution. I have Apple CarPlay maps set to keep north at top, and typically use that. The spinning directional map throws me off completely.

Do people who live in the Southern Hemisphere prefer south to be “up”?

I learned from a map book, so perfer North up

I didn’t see that on pages 68/69 in the operator’s manual

This is how I did it.

Go to apps. Click on nav. Click on the menu bars in the lower right hand corner (it looks like 5 stacked books). Click “3D” once and you get to “2D”. Click “2D” again and you get “2D North Up”

Funny you mention it, I saw this post the other day. It's a "traditional" map of New Zealand and you guessed it, South is up and North is down.
