My local Ford dealer (I like them, I’ve bought many cars from them) has a 4 door 4 cylinder manual Bronco Big Bend with 4800 miles for sale for $43k

car fax shows it has had 3 services for “Engine/powertrain computer/module checked”

it has had 3 individual owners

the last owner had it for 218 miles.

I wanted a Bronco when the concept was shown

looking at the history of this one, I don’t want one now. Maybe after a few years of working things out.

Like I said they just sold one for $56,000, not all dealerships are marking them up. Like I stated, 2 in my area don't mark them up at all. I haven't checked Mooresville Ford in a while but I have heard they are another one in my area that can get them pretty quick. I didn't say that the Badlands they sold had all the options I'm just saying it had lane departure and leather seats on 35's. It could of not had all the features but still was a badlands for $56,000 with the Sasquatch PKG.

Both Huntersville Ford and Hilbish Ford have told me, whatever you build on the website add tax l, tag, title and a $1500 destination fee in and that's what you pay. I work for a company where I can get employee pricing at Ford so that's $2500-$3000 off the price so that covers my destination fee and the tax tag and title.
Go 20 miles into Charlotte and prepare to be raped. They're marking used higher than new.

My family had Jeeps, in 82 we had a new Bronco. I liked both. I thought the new Bronco would be nice so I started looking. It rode fine on the street, but the interior felt cheap compared to the JT, and there wasn't much cargo room. The lack of room, the cheap interior feel, and the fact that the used, 5k mile, 2 door I was looking at wouldn't have a warranty turned me off. The next "cheaper" version they had was 69k. The used 2 dr, with 5k miles, and basically no warranty was 52k. I wanted to like the Bronco, but I just can't like Ford, or maybe the dealer....dunno. Especially since I can't even order what I want now, well, might be able to order, but probably won't get it for a year or longer.

I'm more than happy with my new to me JT. If Ford had kept making Broncos they might have had something like Jeep does. But this new version doesn't really cut it for me.

Or buy this bumper and install the winch to it. Not sure why someone would do all that to install a winch

https://www.extremeterrain.com/productphotos
Because apparently its the only aftermarket behind the bumper mount available for them. Pretty stupid losing a warranty for a $700 winch.

Which brings up another point, the aftermarket Bronco world will never compare to that of Jeep, never. Jeep not only never stopped building Jeeps, they saw what people wanted and built them. What I just bought was my buddies Jeep 15 years ago after he spent another 30k upgrading it. That amazes me.

That's true I've saw some the markups over there. Huntersville Ford and Hilbish are keeping theirs reasonable from what I've saw. They had a outer banks at Hilbish in November that was $51,000. I haven't really looked at Huntersville or talked to them just going on what Vaughn had told me at RTR a few times. He said those 2 places are where they order their's from and they haven't had problems getting Broncos for Projects or for people.

Yeah it’s obvious @Jeeperjamie has a Bronco Bonner, and that’s cool but there’s a reason Ford is Found On Road Dead and the bronco just hammers that point home.
Haters will hate, when your on top they will really hate. All the greats gotta put with the hate. Glad you like to be disrespectful to. I guess your mama didn't teach you any manners either , imagine that.

I almost drove up your way, but I didn't really want to waste my time any more than I already felt like I had. I needed a new ride and didn't want to wait.

I have no hate for the Bronco, it's more like disappointment with what I saw and the whole experience in general.

I was the same the way when I seen all the places marking them through the roof. It was crazy. It's calmed down now to where you can find them in your price range if you look around with in 150 to 200 miles.

We bought a 2022 Badlands MT last spring and absolutely love it! We reserved in fall of 2020, wanted the hardtop so didn’t get scheduled for a 2021 so had to reorder a 22 and finally got scheduled. Paid MSRP and have no regrets. I actually ended up with my Gladiator bc of my wife’s Bronco. We had a 40’ 5th wheel toy hauler that I pulled with a diesel F-350, but after driving all summer with the top and doors off the Bronco we ultimately ended up downsizing the camper to a 20’ pull behind and ordered the Gladiator for me. In the spring I had just traded in the 2013 F-350 for a 2022 F-250 with the 7.3 Godzilla engine and it pulled the 5th wheel fine but it was still not a fun vehicle like the Bronco. I had the F-250 for 6 months and it was actually what I traded in for the Gladiator in November and now we Love both of them. We still follow the Bronco ordering situation and it really sucks for those who haven’t gotten theirs yet. I know they aren’t for everyone but neither is a Jeep for that matter

Some of us adults on here appreciate all 4 wheel drive vehicles and using them. I have been found on the road and off the road in the past 50 years in a Jeep more than anything else. That is not a bad thing, that is because we have been out having fun. I'm sitting here thinking of adding a new Ranger to the line up. Yippie, shift into 4 wheel drive and have a blast!

Beautiful! Like you we have both and appreciate what they both offer. We are toying with adding a Ranger to the fleet.

It's funny how many times I've seen Bronco threads on this forum, and most of the time it's just filled with opinions, or forced comparisons to the JT. One is a truck, one is not. What's even funnier is that anytime anyone starts to whisper a word of appreciation or approval towards a Bronco, just like clockwork, there are always forum members that are quick to start shit talking. I guess they don't want their Jeep card to get pulled, then they'd have to get that tattoo covered up, lol.

In the spirit of transparency, we own a JTR and a 2 door Bronco Big Bend. Both suit our needs and both are awesome.

One last thing.... my JTR has broken down (not from wheeling) more times than my daughter's 2007 Mustang in the last few years. Just for all of those "Jeeps are more reliable than Ford" folks out there. Keep telling yourself that. Out of all of the vehicles that I have owned in my life, only three have had multiple issues while still under warranty, and left me on the side of the road: Dodge Ram, Jeep Wrangler JKU, and my JTR. Fortunately for me, I'm not a brand loyalist and I understand shit happens, so I drive what I like.
