It's my experience here where I live in Florida that the more ducks people have across their dash the least likely they are to do the jeep wave...
Makes sense. Kinda hard to see out the windshield when your dash is stacked with children's bath toys.

I've pretty much given up on the Jeep wave. Back when I had my Wranglers it was rare enough to see another Wrangler so almost everyone waved. Now Wrangs and Gladis are everywhere, and I see more people not wave than those that do, so I just stopped. If I see something thats clearly enthusiast driven I'll toss a V up, or if I notice someone doing it first, but otherwise I don't even bother anymore.

Also I have zero ducks. I had a taco on the dash for a while to trigger the Tacoma fanboys, but it was blocking part of the defrost so I took it out.

Same in SoCal. It's cute but not for me. Shit on my dash annoys me. I've lost plenty of sunglasses and packs of ..... umm, GUM?!?! out open windows. LOL I have only ever gotten 1 duck and I gave it away.

I prefer to refer to it as a carnival claymore.

If i get ducks, i’ll pass them onto my kids, i dont want any on my dash though
