I pulled my truck in to do the FOX TS stabilizer.

One of the stock bracket bolts came out missing a bunch of threads and tore up the axle side as well.

Then I go to start the install and find the mount seems to be clocked 90° out.

Am I missing anything? It does not seem to rotate without being disassembled.

Found that the bracket will rotate with effort once assembled. The bracket does fit the axle poorly and required a combo of over drilling the lower hole and some pry bar force. The bad threads in the axle were able to accept 15 ft/lbs, where I stopped. Definitely a bit bummed but I’ll plan to Heli-coil or Time-sert it at some point in the future. Hopefully it holds for now.

Those stock bolts are beyond frustrating. Just battled them last night. As for the bracket, just mount it to the shock and turn it, it should turn with a little force easily.

for the three small bolts, I put the top two in and then used a jack to sort of shove the bracket in place to get the third bolt in. Its about 1/16” off in terms of angle. I think some of those brackets are defected

There's a set screw that gets loosened for that bracket adjustment. You're supposed to tighten back up.

Mine didn't line up either. I had to wallow out one hole just a hair. The tolerance is incredibly small.

I also fought that fucking bracket for my fox ats, same experience of it not really lining up and needing to be finessed in.

I took great pleasure in throwing it away when I relocated the stabilizer

It looked more than a 1/16" on mine. I ended up going up 2 drill bit sizes from the initial hole and then used a round file to further massage the area that wasn't clearing and finally a pry bar for the last bit of oomph. Still pretty sore about the busted up threads on the axle, though.

I looked at the set-screw but it appeared to be for the other axis (would rotate around the body of the stabilizer). Ultimately I found the bracket rotates at the large bolt with some elbow grease.

I think that mod just moved up my priority list a bit!
