I like the OnX interface better, route planning is easier and looks better. GaiaGPS shows up on the Uconnect via CarPlay, they recently got it working again. That lets me use an XR for navigating instead of an iPad Mini, so it made Gaia worth it over OnX.

OnX kind of pissed me off when they recently started spamming me to upgrade to Elite. Seriously, take NO for an answer!

Tried contact OnX, but their website is not "contact us friendly". That kind of has me worried. I don't see where to sign up for their offer on their website? So I went online to contact them. You have to use their automated help system, then after it fails to give you your answer, you can send an email. Sent it out this morning and waiting to hear from them. Not off to a great start.

I received an e-mail yesterday from Jeep Customer Care and the personalized link worked fine.

Yeah, that’s kinds of the killer feature for Gaia right now, even if it is rather buggy. I don’t want my phone mounted on the dash, I’ve already got a giant screen that can display apps for me.

That's why I went with OnX a year ago, they have the UI thing figured out. Once Gaia got CarPlay working again, though.......dammit.
