Front bumper options(recommendations).

New to the forum and I’m looking for front bumper recommendations for our 2023 Overland. Not really interested in a short bumper but definitely want something different than the plastic bumper on here now. Thanks.

Many options are available, from Rubicon metal one (and counterfeit ones???) to tight budget options. The one I got was originally for a JK but low costing then. Direct bolt on, I already had enough deer incidents that I wanted some steel in the front. Now I've thought about installing a winch mount and cutting away what is needed from factory one to save a few pounds. Every time I think about it, I get to see a few deer running out in roads.
No help with your question. If I could the ARB or Rockhard 4x4 one would be on mine. They have some great stuff. If it's not from certain named companies it might end up being another re-badged Chinese one. Quite a few are.

The factory JK steel bumpers fit too, winch plate needs spacers and a little bit of mod, but the bumper fits great! (then you can modify it a little bit like I did to make it more of a 'custom' piece...)

I also wanted steel, due to all of the deer out here. (Pic of my back yard for illustration!). I also wanted to add a winch, for just in case. I went with the Rough Country. (Can’t remember the exact style). People knock the quality of their products, but I’ve been happy with mine. I sprayed it with Rustoleum rust treatment, then sprayed it with a textured bed liner before I installed it. Fit was excellent.

The bumper in mine is for a JK or was.
I slipped by without any spacers.

I have that one, but the stubby version. I took the tow hooks and painted them red though. It looks good with the red accents on my rubi.

I went with mopar, and the Maximus triple hoop. I do not regret it
All of that installed in less than 40 mins. No need to mess with fog lights one bit. Plug and play.

Ever since I had my TJ back in the early 2000’s I always wanted an ARB front bumper.

Well, after 20 years I finally took the plunge when the JT came into my garage.

I have that one, but the stubby version. I took the tow hooks and painted them red though. It looks good with the red accents on my rubi.

I like the bumper aesthetics....but more importantly, my wife likes it with the red on the tow hooks. Picture of it is in my profile pic
