Fuel tank or sending unit problem?

My 21 Gladiator V6 gas started having a problem this weekend, Filled tank but came off full really fast then drove 50 miles and could only put in 3/4 of a gallon and fuel gauge at about 7/8 of a tank. Not sure what is going on.

Its not a true sending unit in the sense. Its tied to the computer and your MPG affects the actual needle position.
