I just received my Gladiator Rubicon this week, and it is included in this recall. Dealer is researching it now to see if it’s a simple check or if the monoblock bearing unit has to be replaced.

Mine was built early June and it's not in the recall according to my VIN.

If you are included, please post your truck's build date from the door jamb sticker. That might help us track how this is going. Thnx.

Mine is 6-12-19. Not included at this time.

FYSA May want to check again... info i received states through 6-25-19... seems to be conflicting info floating around . Maybe I received inaccurate data. We’ll see when the official notice comes out.

I know “monobloc” means one block and it involves how the driveshaft is made but what exactly needs grease? Is it the rzeppa joints or is involving the carrier bushing/block. I cant find specifics. Maybe one of my wiser forum friends know the answer.

I pulled it up on my Jeep Owners page on the website and my VIN has no recalls. But... that doesn't necessarily mean mine isn't included. Maybe the Jeep Owners site is just slow to update?

Totally understand. The recall for the mirror seals on the JK was out for weeks before i was notified via any letter/email so being slow to update is possibility for sure. Good luck and hopefully u rig isn’t affected.

On my Jeep Owners page my VIN shows no recalls also. But i received a notice from CarFax that my VIN was included and via CarFax the FCA did show my VIN as included in the recall. My build date is 5/19. The Jeep Owners page and the FCA are not on the same page.

Anyone have an update as to when the part may be available? I purchased a Rubicon this past Saturday, 9-7-19, and was advised that the sale was unable to be completed until the recall is resolved, i.e. there was a stop-sale order on my Rubicon meaning I was unable to take delivery and finalize the sale paperwork.

At least they didn’t take my JKURX in trade until the Gladiator is delivered so I’ve got free miles...would rather be driving the new Rubicon.
