If I got 10 mpg in mine I'd trade it in. There's no way I could reasonably afford to feed it.

Took a trip to the beach yesterday. I was happy with the mileage. The trip yesterday was 90% freeway driving with a few spots of stop and go and 10% city. The first photo is the trip (down hill elevation drop of 2600') to the beach and the second when I got home. Normal mileage, around town, is pretty sad, 15.5 avg. This trip almost 21 mpg!

Stock sport auto, 3.73. mixed driving.
15 with stock tires.
13 to 13.5 ever since I added 285/75/17's.
Yes it's fucking absolutely abysmal for an underpowered V6

Completely stock Mojave with a/t's, drive slower than grandpa, easy acceleration, mostly highway but some city. I'll turn off the climate control just to make sure the start stop kicks on. My best "average" 16.6, current 15.4. I have no idea why I dropped 1 mpg average overnight either, just got in the next day and it had changed.
I'm still under 2k miles though and it was only getting 14.x.

What are you using to track your mileage?

I wanted to add MPG with 6spd Mojave improved noticeably after 1st oil change at 2200 miles. 5K+ miles the mixed commute mileage on AT3 tires at 200 foot altitude bounces around 18.4/18.6. This is regular driving no eco stretching.

Thats outstanding. What altitude and tires ?
Stock wheels and tires on a Sport S. Pretty much everything in South East TX is close to sea level. That mileage was a 2 lane highway trip (75 miles one way) and a bunch of back and forth to work jaunts (20 miles one way).

2020 Sport S with 4.10 stock tires was getting about 19-21 mpg.

Put on some 35s no lift and now I'm at 17-19 mpg. They are the skinny 35x10.5r17s though.

My driving is usually 45-55 in town and stick to 70 on highways. Cruise control a ton.
what options did you find for that size. I am real interested in keeping the mud off the side. Lots of dirt roads.

I run a gasser. Just went from Colorado Springs to Marble, Co to do some wheeling. Did Independence Pass both ways. 13 hour trip. 3.73 rear end with 33s. End of trip showed 20.2.
Ran the same route both ways. So I climbed anything I got to drive down later. I have the tazer and flashed for tire size. Quite shocked at 20.2.

The Kenda's and Interco super swampers are the only ones I could find in 35x10.5, My whole goal was to try and keep the wheels just at the fender line with minimal poke while still having the extra height.

Update on my previous post. Over 4th of July weekend I drove from the SF bay area through Oregon and back. In the smooth rolling hills after about a 1/2 tank I got up to 23.9 and repeated 23.7/8 a couple more times. I did try to throttle smoothly and not gun it but wasn't driving slow. I think a combo of the smooth up and downs and the ~60-65mph average speed goes a long way. Once I got back into Ca on 101 and going "normal" freeway speeds it went back to normal

Stock Sport S, Auto, with Willy's Wheels and KM2 tires, normal tow package
week day mixed of city/highway I get about 16.7mpg, freeway averages 18.5 to 20. I noticed that somewhere around 75+ (in theory........ ) the MPG starts to tank

When I had the stock Sport S tires I was averaging 19-22

I drive what I would think is average, I don't try to hyper mile (in the real context) but I do watch myself usually with the daily drives.

Approximately what altitude was that drive?

2020 Max Tow on 37s (stock Rubicon wheels) probably 60% highway/40% city….averaging 16-17 mpg. In the highway im typically cruising at around 70-75. Drive all over TX for work.

Pulled wide low trailer central Tx to South Colorado over weekend. 15.7 mpg for the trip. This is Manual Mojave on stock size AT tires. Flapping tarps did not help much.
