Passed a Tacoma earlier. Can't say for sure it was Quicksand but it is definitely darker than Gobi.

Doing my part:

The Gator photographed much lighter/greener than the naked eye look at that time. Same for the Gobi. Got there at twilight, took some time to locate the Gator. The salesman that greeted us on the lot broomed us. I promptly called from my cell and connected with someone with more sense.

In case anyone is still curious about the color (its hard to explain from photos), this comparison next to other vehicles and indirect sunlight shows the greener side of tan better (its actually even more green than shown).

Was torn between the Gobi and Gator. Went with Gator as it looked more like the Army I recall.... Older but I still recall..... Absolutely the best color match I have ever seen with ARE topper.....

Here’s mine. I love the Gator color! Just highlighted it with some paint, pinstriping and grapics. I added the extra rear tow hook as well.
