Maybe Stellantis will switch Sarge Green for John Deere Green in the near future?Wow, that is nicely done. I would gone for John Deere colors though . My mom worked there!
And here I thought Al Gore invented paint........... oh, well.I hear ya'. But that is why God invented paint and powder coating. So I can accent my Jeep with any color I want.
I know the Sarge is a little darker, but it is close enough.Maybe Stellantis will switch Sarge Green for John Deere Green in the near future?
Nice upholstery. Did you do the dash pad yourself? Are the doors accented as well? I have a Katzkin kit coming and it only does the seats and headrests. I'm having the work done by an authorized upholstery shop but if it's not too hard and I can save money I'll DIY the other parts.I hear ya'. But that is why God invented paint and powder coating. It can be easy and cheap. Many companies offer rattle can paint that is perfectly matched with factory paint. It's not hard but it's not cheap. Factory matched paint adds a lot of expense to the process that most people aren't going to want to pay for when a simple selection of colors suffices for 90% of the market. Even JT/JL specific parts would need to match all colors from all years and Jeep has had over a dozen colors at this point between the two.
As @DankjeeP said, you can always paint it yourself if it really means that much to you.
Thank you, Alan. I did not do the dash pad myself. I ordered the entire interior kit from leatherseats.com because they offer more than just seat covers, but matching center console cover, shift boots, armrest covers, and dash pad. Katzkins only offers the seat covers and I wanted to "undo" more of the black interior color. Oddly, some of the interior options (like the dash pad) are not even listed on leatherseats.com's website, and I found out about them from a pot on this forum. I had a local upholstery company do the installation.Nice upholstery. Did you do the dash pad yourself? Are the doors accented as well? Dog color does not match trucks color. Collar color neither matches dogs nor trucks color… it is a sad and beautifull world….ok, here you are
Ah, Germany.....You are then familiar with the Riesenschnauzer. This wonderful dog is our fourth, and he is a magnificent friend and protector. He usually wears a vest which is also not the same color of his coat, or the Jeep, but he likes it all the same. Best to you.Dog color does not match trucks color. And the OP is just voicing what I've been wrestling with for 6 months. But I don't get vocal about it.
