Is there a product to extend the hood all the way back?

Does anyone make a product that let's you safely open the hood and extend it all the way back onto the windshield frame? I've done it before using a towel in between but surely someone has come up with something to safely do it.

The solution is on the hood. Just adds 2 more of those rubber windshield drop down pads, but for the hood ?

I love flipping the hood up while I work on anything under the hood, if conditions allow. I have to confess that I’m a folded towel and bungee cord kinda guy though.

I don’t think something permanent on the hood or above the windshield is a good idea. Just a dirt and bug collector and new thing that can whistle at just the right mph.

Still, in the spirit of the initial ask, maybe a foam pad with a magnetic back would do it. I saw a few, including this one. Cheap and easy. Might do the trick.

Yes. I'm not sure if any other model has the steel hood.
I'd have to check the windshield frame. Not sure about that.

Just the hood. Verified.
The windshield frame, cowl covers, and hinges are all aluminum.
