So we had a 2018 JL 2 door sport. We would find rubber ducks with little notes saying nice jeep, you’ve been ducked. It always put a smile on our faces. We ended up with a total of 4 ducks. Well, we very recently learned about Jeep ducking. So my 12 yr old daughter asked if we could duck people. Well, I had to oblige her. So the gladiator has now become a Jeep Ducking delivery truck:)

Not really a fan of the ducks, BUT, I make exceptions for people who are still too young to legally drive. We have to get them interested in Jeeps early:). Hope y’all enjoy your gladiator!

Same here!!
I have soooo many bags of ducks that’ll last me for years and years!!
I have a box of ‘little‘ ducks, ducks with cowboy hats, a bunch sitting in Jeeps, and more recently….. My sister ordered a HUGE bag from Amazon and had them shipped to me (I made some decals for her).

Around here, there aren’t that many Jeeps around. I can go to Lowes on any given Saturday and I won’t see any Wranglers or Gladdy’s in the parking lot. I’ve only been ducked ‘in the wild’ twice…… in 2.5 years.

More recently, I was approaching a Wrangler to duck it….and there was a guy sittin’ in the drivers seat. I handed it to him and he smiles and said…”What’s witih these ducks?” 😂 So, I explained it….He wasn’t mad or against it. We had a nice conversation. He said “Is it a Jeep thing?” 😂 New Wrangler owner and he also realized about the Jeep Wave too. 😊 I told him….”If you don’t want the duck, just put it on someone else’s Wranger”

I don’t collect ducks, but when my wife got her ‘21 JLU the kids were still young enough to enjoy that stuff and she carried ducks to leave. She also got excited when someone left one on her jeep.

I think it’s silly that some people get upset about it, just be prepared for that. I haven‘t been “ducked” yet, but I am sure it will happen at some point and I will pass it on to my wife so she can display it on her dashboard.

Yeah I don’t get why people get mad about it either. I think it is a fun gesture and teaches the kids to appreciate stuff. But to each their own.

I passed my first duck onto a new owner last night after dinner. There was a nicely modded yellow Wrangler parked across from me. Dashboard full of ducks, so I figured they'd appreciate another.

I have to admit, it felt a little weird. Like "Am I really supposed to be doing this? What if I get caught?"

Curious if I'll ever see them around town

Totally thought this thread was going in a different direction from the title. Had a smart Alec response loaded up in my head about lift kits and armor and angry grills all ready to go. If the kids want to Duck, then they shall Duck.

Yeah, I could have probably worded that differently. 😂
