Awesome build! I just ordered a Gator JTR from Kent in ID and I am planning on the same type of build. Looks beautiful :like:
Thank you. Believe me you won't be disappointed!

@GlacierGladiator

Phenomenal end product that will bring about an amazing amount of adventurous miles!
I hope so but many of the spots I planned to hit this summer are planned to remain closed due to COVID-19 until sept. 30th. I'm hoping that is lifted much sooner as time goes on.

I was able to throw the annex room on my RTT today for the first time to check it out. It adds so much extra room.

Love it!

For those unaware, the ability to climb into your RTT from a covered, sheltered, dry environment is 100x better than without.

How large is your family or what do you see as the max sleeping arrangement with this set up?

Well this tent more than accommodates my family size of 2 people a Mastiff & St. Bernard .
Honestly, i dont think you would want to sleep anyone in the annex. There are gaps against the ground and so i think they could be eaten alive with mosquitoes depending on where you live. It will be perfect to contain 2 big dogs while sleeping and allow room for storage if it starts to rain heavily to take shelter. A cool option they should have did would be a zip in floor. If they had this then you could sleep several kids in the annex. I think it is like 10x10 footprint.

Love the IKamper and annex ... I wish more manufacturers put floors in these annexes
I agree. A tarp floor would be nice. Honestly if you wanted to spend a few more hundred dollars i bet you could get someone to sew zippers to the lower flaps and matching zipper to a nice tarp a then it would be perfect!

Was able to mock up my seat delete platform with cardboard today. I took it 1 step further than the goose gear and removed the storage tray on the drivers side, seemed like wasted space & 6 additional inches of space is worth it IMO. The depth on the drivers side split is 40" and the rest is 36".
Once i get some birch plywood it should be a quick assembly. I will be covering the platform with paint on bed liner.
I still have not decided if im going to hinge it for lower access or do trap doors like the goose gear ones.

Finally some good weather to get the tube doors on. Just finalizing my rear seat platform & should have it mounted this weekend in time for a week overlanding trip next week.
More to come...

seat delete platform is done! Concealed SOSS hinges lift the platform to gain access to the space below. Also removed the plastic storage bin onbthe back drivers wall for an additional 6" of platform space. Covered the whole thing with paint on bed liner. I will eventually add a keyed lock to one of the lift up lids.
I couldn't justify spending the money on GG seat delete. I feel these turned out just as good if not better than the GG ones.

Where did you get the topographic vinyl? Would love to add that to the side vent area of my build. Thanks.
