Sure looks like the old Willys.
Yes, the J6 concept certainly has a classic Jeep vibe. The Mopar Performance Parts designers did a great Job designing this concept. It certainly overshadowed Mark Allens Five Quarter concept during the 2019 EJS.

I keep coming back to this one........if the rear seat area of the JT was cut in half and most of that length was added to the bed, it would really suit my needs and taste........ Definitely a niche market (maybe just me, lol) but I would be all over it immediately.
Would love to have the same!

Not sure how long the bed is but that looks pretty good. Maybe could be a little longer if I was picky.
It’s a JKU with the rear half (or cut) doors

My brother and I used to fish this reservoir that was off limits. The same sheriff deputy would drive up to us every time, we'd get in his J6 and he'd drive us back to the highway and we'd hitchhike back home. He was so fat that his belly rubbed against the steering wheel and he had a permanent black semi-circle on his shirt. He was nice about it, and we'd share some fish with him sometimes, by throwing it in the back. He never turned us in. That's my J6 memory.

I keep coming back to this one. My wife has a four door nice car that works for when we take the kids somewhere, and if the rear seat area of the JT was cut in half and most of that length was added to the bed, it would really suit my needs and taste. Although I might keep the spare underneath the bed. And not put all the length into the bed so it might actually shorten the overall length a little to contribute to departure. Definitely a niche market (maybe just me, lol) but I would be all over it immediately.

A very nice two-door 'extended cab' in this Casey Currie video - HERE

If you have questions, post a comment on that video. Casey is very good about answering them.
Looks like the JK8 conversion kit from Mopar. If MPP was to offer a conversion kit for the JLU, I'd rather it have the independent 6 foot bed like they have on their J6 concept.

Meh, assuming all things equal, the bed gets longer but the cab shorter, no. I would only consider it if I regularly needed a longer bed. But I don't.

I am very happy with my Mo just the way it is. If I could magically make one exterior design change, I'd lower the cab roof a tad. I think the truck would look a tad better from the side and "collect" :) a little less cross-wind at highway speed.

I suppose the shorter cab in post 1 would make it look a tad more awkward from the side, but maybe have a little less crosswind collection. I'll pass, the cross wind doesn't bug me but the look would.

And as a PS, I also like to have the choice of bed and back seat storage as I do now, it would be pretty cramped in that "new" cab.
