do you think you could fit for of these in the bed width wise?
I don’t think four will fit the existing direction or that they will work width wise at all unless they are short children’s bikes. Three large bikes will work the direction I have them with two bikes facing one direction and one facing the other way. It will depend on the type of bikes and handlebar width/location. I added another image from the rear view.

The bed would not be wide enough to fit sideways.
I like these mounts!

Thanks! I think I am going to get a 3 set of these once my new gladiator shows up and have to figure out something else if we have a fourth bike going. Possibly mounting a fork mount off to one side of the front of the bed. It looks like 4 bikes will be tight regardless of how they are in there.

I have a Kuat NV that I used on my JKU. Now my gladiator doesn’t have a hitch so I’m trying to decide to spend 275 on a hitch and use my rack or invest in the rails and a Yakima rack to haul that way instead. Can’t decide lol

I had a hitch type rack on my prior Jeep and also started out with that on my Gladiator. I got tired of having to move it every time I wanted to put something in the bed. I wasn’t removing it when not transporting bikes. Either will work, just comes down to how you want it to look and function.

I want the bed rack look
But wouldn’t you still have to remove the cross bars and rack to haul stuff?

The KB vodoo cross bars have been awesome for transporting my bikes this summer. It is a little tight rolling the tonneau cover up the few times I've needed. It would be sweet if one side had a quick release pin, the other side had a hinge and gas struts. So you could unpin one side and the struts would lift the bars a few inches, and make the cover more accessible. Without the bikes being loaded of course.

I was thinking the same thing as far as the bars go, able to easily raise and lower; if there was something like that out i'd buy in a heartbeat

Most of my bike hauling consists of short trips to local trails. Just purchased the Dakine small tailgate pad which fits the 53" tailgate perfectly and allows use of backup camera.

I welded up a bracket that clamps to the bed rail and attaches to the rack for stability.

I just finished a trip from NY to Virginia to South Carolina, and back to NY with my bikes mounted like this. No issues what so ever, except I couldnt get in the parking garage at the hotel with the bikes mounted. That was fine because I would rather have them in the room with us.
