Scary, they're not advertising the price.
I bet they throw out some insane price, like 35K or something.

Steel and aluminum - it'll probably be pushing 500 pounds too

Looks like it weighs 640 to 684 lbs. Looks nice but better beef up the springs if you buy one.

My Alucab Canopy Camper came it at exactly 600lbs before I added anything else. I wish they had a real door as opposed to the tail gate

Damn y'all, my camper only weighs in at 250 all aluminum hand welded. Sitting at 400 with build out so far.

Are you sure about that? Looks like a project M from 4 wheel campers. Their site lists the base weight for a 5' camper as 325 pounds. Which sounds more reasonable. Even the ovrlnd camper comes in at 300 base weight.

Nope not a project M. OVRLND Camper from Flagstaff AZ. Hand built. Weighed it before they put it on. Even if it's 300lbs it's still half the weight more or less.

I thought about getting one of those. He makes some really good stuff. IMO better than the 4wheel camper deal.

Picked up my new Scout Tuktut designed to target gladiators this weekend. Just added airlift 1000 lb bags and did great. 17 hr drive from Yakima Washington Los Angeles . About 9 of those were driving in snow/ice with crazy winds.
800 lbs with removable Jacks.
700lbs after taking them off which takes around 10 seconds each.(usually be off)

Might be heavy for some looking to wheel but this is perfect for my winter camping needs.

Crazy. Do you have ANY payload left after you are sitting in the truck?
aha, maybe . Most important part about campers is center of gravity
Unless jeep b.s the 1200 payload capacity, should be good as long as you don't get something behind your axles

Give us some pictures of the inside when you get a chance. Nice rig! I like that you can keep the tail gate/ front porch on.

I must be honest I am constantly being torn between a 2500 with an Alaskan camper, and some type of pop up solution for the JT for cold temps... This is a nice option. Not for me, but I do like that they have a camper using composite panels. I think it is the only 'production' camper with composite at the moment.

First time I've seen anyone mentioned Alaskan campers for a jt. My dad worked for them many years ago, never considered one for the JT.
