I personally miss all the gun talk and politics. lol
Marilyn Monroe shot Lee Harvey Oswald with an AK47 that she stole from Lee Iacocca who is the great grandson of Buster Keaton who founded the NRA after Abraham Lincoln sold FoMoCo to the governor of Atlantis when he teleported from Mars and is Matt Damon's biological step-dad!

I read that on the Bat-Shit Crazy form so it must be true. BSC is my news source.

All the lights on my Jeep are flickering.

(I am guilty somewhat) doing 90% of the posting that can unintendingly seem to steer the general board vibe and turn off either existing members and/or steer other new members away.
Sorry, but I had to laugh at that - you of all people are among the most level-headed, even-temperament, logical, factual person in any forum or FB page I've even ever looked at.
You are one people can trust, gives good advice, facts. (sort of the glue in a forum)

You got that almost correct. I saw on Tic Toc that it was Kevin Bacon, not Matt Damon.

Was this before or after the internet was invented by Alexander Graham Bell, who also invented those tasty crackers.

Doesn't seem like as many crazy debates. Maybe all the good ones sold their Gladiators. Maybe there are less issues to talk about because everything has been fixed or no solutions. (There have not been any updates to the Tazer software for a year or more.)
Great 5 star answer!!

Lots of good posts on this thread. Lots of good folks on this forum. It is a good forum.

I like to say that I don't do social media, but I consider a 'hobbiest forum' as social media. So, I do do social media. But I don't do FB, Twit, X and such.

I never did MySpace when many of my friends did. Most of those friends went to FB when MySpace went away. And some of those friends have since passed away. By old age or illness, unrelated to the point.

There are many facets to this online and instant posting to a worldwide audience: That is still being learned. And it's easy do to because you can post at home in your jammies all hours of the night.

I don't have any of the answers. But for an online social outlet or hobbiest forum's admin to state "No Politics" is a dream situation; An illusion. One can eventually tell by a members posts where they stand in politics, and religion, et al. I don't post a lot but I can be a bit forthright in my opinion. And therefore I can tell or guess which active members are left or right. Godless or have Faith.

I can tell, if they have been around awhile and posted, if I would want them to date my daughter.

I can say that the forums that flourish have outlets to address politics and religion and everything else.

It is a big melting pot of strangers in a digital outlet. Even with that ambiguity, I think I know who my friends are here. And aren't.

I said nothing much but a word salad with no point... if one doesn't 'see' it. Except, lets keep these hobbiest forums going for the sake of retired old turkeys like me.

Be Well. Jeep on. Jeep peaceful. Love, actually, Is the answer. Ya see how I did that. How we all do that....

Eric

Are you talking recently? Or…..

It is spring time…. So, there’s a shit-ton of fun things to do (and/or work that needs done) that don’t require you sitting on your ass on social media and forums. šŸ˜ŠšŸ˜‚

I’m here everyday … briefly….I’m not as involved with Jeeps as I used to be. I don’t offroad and I don’t upgrade things like ya’ll do. There’s a lot of very skilled and talented people here, but I just don’t need to read 95% of the threads. There’s a lot of good practical and trustworthy information here and why I keep coming back.

I’m on here and Faceook(about 15 hobbyist private groups) - but that’s it. I’m getting tired of Facebook ….and would rather be here.

Don’t sweat it……. Honestly? You don’t necessarily want this place to be extremely active. The more people and activity there is, reduces the overall quality of the posts & responses. You can see that in a lot of the hugely & overly populated facebook groups.
