Search on many topics will get reddit results in the top of the results.
SEO is a big deal when people are looking - they tend to not go past the first few hits and settle with the top results.

Not counting the YT results and AI stuff - this is the 2nd hit from the top for "battery" - (Wrangler forums came up first, then this)

Gladiator forums were not even on the first page.

People don't go beyond a click or two to get a result.
Reddit sucks and gets suckier every day and the questions there are so off base, rudimentary or just plain stupid with trolls I don't even bother to reply and come back here where people at least seem to have a brain.

I went into the PLC program in College in 1975. They tried hard to get me to go on a pilot path. I pointed out, I wore glasses and couldn't drive but they showed me their little models of the NEW F18's that were in the pipeline pushed real hard saying but you will be a pilot just in the back seat and I said, If I can't drive I"m not flying and I hate math and want to be in the infantry. I would have been a Mustang as I was a former (therefore always Marine) artillery fire control 0848/forward observer. But, alas before accepting the commission I withdrew as the new wife didn't want to be a Marine wife. She shoulda told me earlier. But then again, iId likely be dead by now.

I agree with your quote.

This forum seems to be more active than most for Gladiators . I am always looking for a forum as busy as "Jeep Forum" was 20 some years ago for TJ mods but I guess them days are gone
I'm still a TJ forum mod over there. The only one and it's very part-time.

What is your user name there?

I for one love the forums for all of the advice and help with troubleshooting, esp in the Jeep world. I'm also on the Legacy GT forum and the 5th gen (2010-2014) is super slow now.

I use Fackbook for a couple local recovery areas. I have gone out and pulled a few people. But for gladiator specific stuff I come here.

I don't know how the EWOs did it!

And deep thanks and respect to you! FO talked to FDC who talked to JTFS who talked to Dark Star who directed us. You guys streamlined that crap and we could hear you through JTFS. Faster time to target and less TOT and tarry. That time gave us altitude to fight the SAMs. Coolest response from FO was a clear call where the JTS translated what the FO said to "DILLFO" which was AF chatter for "DIGAF? Fire the F'n Ordnance!" Sierra Hotel, every damn one of you!!!! 🇺🇸

Was it the best choice? Was it worth it, in the end? Of course it was.

My dreams of being a Harrier driver vanished when I was tested for color vision. A big fail. Annapolis dreams, Gone.

Enlisted but the dreams of OCS, faded away.

I did some time in the MC but it never became the dream I wanted.

Some win, some lose and take a different path. But was it really a loss?

My son became a distinguished Marine after me and made some of my dreams come true in his service career. I don't think that he is done yet. A hard charger.

Sometimes, on bad days; I think life for my family and myself might be better if I went and lost my life doing God's work in a African country nobody thinks about anymore. We all will die, be it as a hero for God and Good or an old person in a rest home... Neither is bad....

Other days I thank The Lord for my failures. I am still here.

At the least, I did some time in and inspired my son to be an exemplary Marine. And this goes for all branches. From a family of hard charging crayon eaters, LOL, There is a deep passion To Serve. To Serve. One of my brothers was a Marine and another brother was a Coastie, and an uncle (WWII) was Navy. But the rest; Dad (Korea), uncles and even an Aunt (WWII), were Marines. I respect them all. I respect all branches.

May God Bless you all that served, serve, or will serve. The nation thanks you. Our nation still exists because of you. Because of YOU.

There are men women and children all over the world in Free Nations that live free, because of those who served.

You younger Jeepers: Be the hero. Sign up and you'll grow up. See the world. In the end of it all you served. You did the right thing for Good.

Be well Be free. jeep on.

Well I just wanted to let everyone know that I read this forum every morning with my 1st cup of coffee, I only comment/ reply when I think I can help out, which is not often, because of all of the great people who have the answers... great job to all of you! I don't do any social media, ever, the fake news is bad enough, don't need more of the same coming from people who haven't got a clue. I'm retired now, had to work hard my whole life to get what I have,God has blessed me for my efforts! My gladiator was my early retirement gift and the forum was a great addition, look forward to it everyday.
