Can’t imagine there would be much more to it than unbolting the existing hood & bolting/aligning the new one.
Them Mojave hoods look good too :)

Yea I don't think the Rubicon hood would require any extra modifications. I thought I heard the Mojave has different sized cowls, so maybe that one isn't as straightforward. I wouldn't put them on my Sport, just doesn't feel right since it's not that trim. Buy I have rubicon wheels so call me a hypocrite lol.

All that said, have you seen the DV8 heat dispersion hood? I like the look and they have one for the JL, not sure about the JT yet...

Correct on the Mojave... you'd need the cowls at a minimum, not sure on anything else.

I only don't like the DV8 hood because we see it too much with the angry grill down here. I like how subtle the rubicon hood is.

Yes, this ^^^...! You’re going to be looking at a $1,000 paint job.

I’m happy with the clean lines of the Sahara/Overland hood. It’s got more of a classic Jeep look.

Wouldnt a JL hood work? Makes me wonder if you could scavenge one from a junk yard or tow lot

Yes I prefer the rubicon hood
Thanks all
I swapped hoods the first week I had my Overland.
Hood and Vent inserts. I didn't bother with the insulator pad.
Very easy to do, took me around 30 minutes max.

Any problem with the hinge bolts backing them out

No, None at all. Just make sure you have the correct bit and that is it very good condition.
A worn bit will not grab the bolt securely and could strip out the head.
Put a bit of WD-40 on the bolts and let it soak in over night.
