Are the straps going through the back window?This was about 250 bucks plus the 2x6s and took me about 4 hours to install. Makes it very easy and I just keep it lofted to the ceiling for storage.

Yep, I do the same exact thing. Then I store it on the floor sitting on one of those foldable exercise matsI have a bed cover. I lay a beach towel on the bed cover, slide the top back enough to sit the back edge on the towel and then I tip it up. From there, I slide it to the driver side on the towel and carry it away.
No, the way the weather stripping lays, I just make sure it's folded in so no pressure is on them. Then they don't get pinched or kinked.Thanks. Do you have anything padding it to protect that rubber window seal?
