If you get an Overland and put $3k into it, you'll still have saved $7k and be more capable than a stock Rubicon or Mojave
Show me any overland, with 3k spent any way you’d like. Meet me at the trail of your choosing. I’m not blowing smoke. If it’s close enough to me to be feasible, I’ll be there. Let’s see which vehicle gets through the trail more easily. It should be a trail with a 6 or higher rating. I welcome all challengers.

5.13's Never, at most they'd last maybe 4 years.. That tiny piñon and the speed she's spinning I can't believe people even try to put these in!
Guess you never seen a 6.17 that's over 40 yrs old.

I sold my JKUR when I got the Mojave. There were 3 rubicons and just 1 mojave at the dealership so I made the smart move.

The sway bar disconnect sucks balls and mine never worked right on the Rubi. The 4:1 TC was too low. I was shifting to 4th gear just to crawl.

I do miss the front locker but not sure I'll be needing it on the Mojave.

Mojave package is by far more appropriate for a pick up truck.

he could spend 3k renting a helicopter.

Not in a dana 44
I have a couple of friends running 5.13's for years.

Buddy of mine built a set of Dana 60's back in the mid 70's for his chevy truck with 44's. Those axles are still in it.
