quick question. I did an online chat with Jeep today and was able to get the info that I am in D1 status for four days. First, how long is typical/average for D1 status? and is there another way to get the order status than going to Jeep live chat everyday?
I've been in D1 for 4 weeks now, strange you see orders placed AFTER I placed my order already built and headed out.

And still no one has tracked what level and what equipment is involved - even what colors are involved, of those that get done fast as opposed to those that take weeks longer.
It would be most helpful for those waiting if there was some pattern found - but that would take someone putting this to spreadsheet to see - ok, which get done slowest - Rubicon, Overland or Sport, any pattern to the colors ordered? How about transmission? Other equipment like axle differences? Interior colors?
Mine went through int under a month start to delivery - is that because it's an Overland and no one else is ordering those so they go through fast because there's no waiting for the equipment? If we could track all orders that went through in a month or less and see a pattern compared to those that have waited 8 weeks - it's going to remain a "who knows" but you can bet there IS a pattern somewhere. No one has bothered to find it yet.
My sales guy went so far as to suggest that some can do better pricing and speed for reasons such as size, volume and some thing he mentioned I can't recall at all but depends on some status and if they do or don't meet certain criteria. I can't recall all he mentioned that night. Might have been BS but he also said he had one ordered well before mine he was still waiting on - a Rubicon I believe. So........ is that a pattern? Higher demand = slower time and the lesser-demanded Overland goes through faster?

Ordered mine 10/24. Currently in KZ with an ETA of 11/28 - 12/4.

I purposely did not order anything that would hang me up in JB. The JT needs to get here, garage is getting full of parts!

I ordered 10/28 a Gator Rubicon pretty loaded including Bedliner but with black fenders and hardtop. I got KZ'd 11/16 with expected dealer arrival 11/18 (today?) to 12/02. Shipment is via MWCA, which I assume is via truck since it says the next destination is the dealer under a subtitle of "Truck" in the Vehicle Assignment Leg Details section.

Woot! Good thing I cleaned out the garage this weekend to get its new nest all ready...this is like having a baby it seems. :)

I ordered the same date 10/28 and pretty much loaded with Bedliner and black top and fenders too but Granite Crystal Metallic estimated ship date 11/14 no KZ yet and I live 2.5 hours from the factory in Toledo. Still stuck in JB mode (Body Vendor) and like you I have mods to do but no Jeep to put em on. :jk:

Maybe it's a Keno game that's used to schedule production. Or a palm reader!

Or a spinner wheel to see who’s next?

Got a build sheet today at the following URL: https://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=

Haven't heard anything yet from the dealer, but I've read this can mean it has been built! Order 10/19, so this brings us just under 1 month, and it is on the day of the Ship Date stated at D1 status.
How did you get the 'ship date' at D1? Jeep Chat tells me I am at D1 but does not provide any additional info. Am I not asking the right questions?

As a few folks have said over the weeks - ignore that bogus first ship date. It generally ends up being the date it goes to production. Mine has a ship date of 11/04 - in reality that ended up being the day it started down the line. I don't know why they call it ship date unless it's shipped down the assembly line LOL but seriously, if you are at D1 - ignore that ship date.

Well - they haven't given me a ship date and like you say, I'm hoping that it is the build start date - the sooner it starts building the better!
