You and I ordered the same day. Interested to see how our build timelines play out. My estimated ship date was July 1st from the dealership but Jeep Cares says I’m scheduled to go into production the week of July 6th.

I also ordered on 5/13. With 7/6 production date.

I agree about colors. I was on a thread on FB and Scott blum addressed that for me and another guy waiting for our truck and questioning it. According to him it doesnt play a part since they can change the colors easy.

Lol yup that’s the guy! I might have been the other guy on that thread (I’m Heath M.) who brought it up!! That’s the guy I was referring to that is a manager over production and planning. He said they have 11 (I think) color bays all painting concurrently.

I was just told by FCA that my MT JTR would be delivered to dealer between 7/1 & 7/15. If it makes it by then, they will be able to say they filled my order in less than 8 months.

Ouch. That's rough. A perfect storm of pandemic and MT recall - but even with all that it seems excessive. Are you getting anything from the dealer or FCA for your patience?

Agreed, I friended him and have asked/messaged him several questions. He seems to be a great guy and doesn’t mind clarifying and/or providing info when asked. I posted on the forums about why the Rubicon trim seemed to be left out of the option for the Auto high beam headlights and it was he that told me since December 2019 all trims of the gladiator have it.

actually dont have bedliner or ant thing extra. Just aux switch, color fenders, auto and tow group . So Im hoping it progresses quickly! So nice to know its no longer in D1!

biggest help scott gave me was when he confirmed that the JT does not have the same transmission as the pacifica. our other car, My wife hates it with a passion due to very clunky intermediate shifting. To the point it sometimes feels like the transmission is going to fall out of the vehicle. Had that brought in so many times only for a reflash and persistant problem. She really didnt want anything to do with another FCA vehicle. A big problem with having so many brands under the same umbrella! After I relayed that to her. she was onboard.

Is there a way to motivate Jeep to get mine on a truck to the dealer? I know it had already left OH on a train and made it to NC (per the dealer). Now it is just sitting there 4 hours away.

Either hammer your dealer and make them get in touch with FCA Logistics, or try it yourself...I've heard it can work wonders!
