I'm out of production and off to accessories. Hopefully shipping isn't too long and I'll be picking it up soon.
Mine has been built and waiting for accessories for about 10 days now. I assume it’s waiting for the bed cover or spay in liner. I’m hoping it gets moving again soon

My dealer swore up and down it would be shipping last Friday (the date production was scheduled to finish) and would be at the dealer today. Production finished as scheduled on Friday, but now it's waiting for accessories.

I don't know why he dug in so firmly on that date, I'm a fairly understanding person, especially given how outside of his control production is. But it hasn't shipped and I think it's highly unlikely I'll be picking it up this weekend as scheduled.

There have been multiple occasions that I've seen on here where the truck shows it's not even done but it ends up at the dealer. MAYBE the dealer sees something in the system that is making them confident it'll be there. If it doesn't arrive today it couldn't hurt to ask him for details on WHY he was so confident.

Just from tracking these pages (everyone's complaining, including mine when I was waiting) I haven't seen a speed up for the accessories install. It looks like it's still taking between 3-5 days to complete. I could be entirely wrong and they could have corrected that bottle neck. The other issue is the shortage of employees to load/unload trains as they leave the rail yards in OH and make their stops. Shipping has been sporadic due to COVID. BUT maybe yours is being tossed on a car carrier instead of a train and the dealer would be able to see that, in which case it should arrive pretty quick after it's released.

Options, Options, Options.... Who knows!! Hang in there it will be worth the wait, I promise!

I'm taking it all in stride, I know I'll get it eventually. I certainly don't want Jeep pushing employees at the factory into taking risks and getting sick just to build a car faster.

Just to clarify, my dealer was adamant it was arriving today before production even started. So I'm not sure what information he has access to, but maybe he should share the wealth with the forums. Lots of frustrated people here, mainly due to lack of information. I certainly won't complain if he ends up being right.

You ordered a 2020 on June 11, right? JB can take 1 to 7 days depending on the number waiting and what needs to be done. Generally, they truck them direct from the factory within 250 to 300 miles although it is hit and miss if trucks are available. I've seen delivery to Pennsylvania in one day so NJ may make it in one to two days.

The dealer should have access to a transit logistics system that shows every time the vehicle was logged electronically with an updated ETA for delivery each time. Trucks don't get it as often as a railcar.

Good luck that he is right.

Yup, June 11th. My dealer is in MD, so who knows if they're gonna truck it or ship it on a train. My money is on train.

Not to hijack, but you sound knowledgeable on timelines - I ordered a 2021 Rubicon with most of the options on Wednesday, July 1 (was told my order was accepted Monday, July 6). I have no disillusions that it has even reached production yet since the VIN I was given last week shows build and window sticker as “Not Found“ on the tracker, but do you have any advice or estimation on how long they’re generally taking under current conditions? To echo some of the sentiments above, I’m not getting my undies bundled and certainly I don’t want anyone risking getting sick from exposure; I’m purely curious what a general wait time looks like

For the Gladiators you guys get them almost instantly. Comparatively. On the Wrangler side it is a complete random event on the order the builds are sequenced. Today one ordered 01/24 just got its build and sticker and is ready for shipping while a couple of weeks ago one ordered first week of June was built. They are still cranking out the 2020 Wranglers for another 3 weeks before starting the 2021 builds that opened for orders June 5.

When did the 2021 JT orders start, about July 5? When did 2020 JT end production?

Here is a guide that may help you better understand the process. It is for the JL but others say it is similar for the JT:

When I ordered mine on July 1, my dealer said I had missed the 2020 ordering cutoff by just a day or two, so I can only assume that they stopped taking orders at the end of June and started the 2021s basically July 1. But thanks very much for your reply! I really hope you're right and that there isn't a monster wait (though my dealer said that the pandemic has left people waiting on their builds for about 3-5 months in some cases, but that was before the country started "opening back up" so we'll just have to see) though if there is, then it is what it is, and I'll just sit tight the best I can. I'm gonna check out that link you just posted right now and hopefully get a firmer grasp on what's up. Thanks again!!

Got my Mojave today. Ordered 6/18, Estimated ship date 7/8 (It did) arrived at the dealer and delivery 7/20.
How long after you got your VIN did the tracker start showing progress? My order was accepted 7/6, and I got my VIN last week, but the tracker still shows "NOT FOUND" for Build and Sticker - does that mean they haven't started?

So they started the 2021 builds almost immediately? Must not of had many 2020s left to make.

The Jeep databases where Crypto pulls info are very slow updating many times including having it delivered and still nothing in the build or sticker. Jeep says those databases are primarily historical info and not status tracking.

I'm sorry, I'm really not sure at all when they actually started the 2021 builds - I just know that the order I made at the beginning of July was for a 2021 and that my dealer told me that I had just missed the cutoff to make a 2020. I didn't have a preference either way, but likely would have chosen a 2020 if it was an option because I assume the price would have been better since it would have been "last year's model" at that point.
