I started Vroom last Wednesday. They have yet to call me. I tried calling them for the first three days and they said it’s still in review. It’s been a week and no contact. Sure, they offer the highest, but do I really want to deal with a company that doesn’t follow through and has poor service? Not me. I sold to CarMax last Saturday after hearing nothing from and spending two hours on hold with Vroom.

2018 JLU Sahara, loaded, HellaYella—window sticker was $54,570, but under invoice I paid $45,849 + tax, tags, $699 processing fee. Offers were - Vroom: $42,048 and you know how long it takes to move it, also Google for reviews—people have plenty to say. GiveMeTheVin: $35,xxx. Carvana: $36,xxx. CarMax: $39,000, took a little over an hour. Painless and they didn’t even test drive it. Got $9,000 more than I owed. Pretty good deal for a vehicle that would have been three years old in August and had 36,720 miles on it. Bought it with dual top and kept the softtop for the wife’s JLU Sahara. I’m satisfied.

I ordered a Sport S Max Tow on 5/8. Scheduled to be built 6/11.

I know it's the luck of the draw and all, but I ordered my Sport S max tow the day before you did, and mine was delivered to the dealer last Friday. 1 week to build, and 2 weeks to deliver and prep. Any idea what option is holding yours up?

I’m not sure. It’s pretty loaded minus the safety stuff and LED’s. Maybe Bedliner or hard tonneau cover?! Someone told me they schedule them by region they’re shipping to? I’m not sure about that.

So since I ordered my base sport MT on 4/27 the incentives have went for the Sport from $2,000 to $500 and I am still sitting in D1 status with no build date in sight. I wonder if anyone else on here ordered a sport and is getting it built now.

Wonder if it's the combo of a Base Sport and MT (oddly enough, that's what I'm trading in). I ordered a Base Sport w/ Max Tow on 5/26 and am waiting on a build sheet.

There is also a national polyurethane shortage. Places like Line-x are getting 10% of what they normally do, and are having to run waiting lists for customers.

The polyurethane shortage also affects hard top production.

These all likely play a factor in build times.

Sounds like the same as mine, minus the bedliner and the tonneau cover. Mine went to Boston, and then trucked to dealer in northerm NH. I know the bedliner was a problem before, but i thought that had cleared up? Maybe not. One the plus side, I did get both fobs (and a hand truck to carry them) and the case for the freedom panels. Both were in short supply right after I placed my order. Hope you get yours soon!

My sales rep updated me again today. Still D1 with no ETA. I guess as long as it does not go from D1 to D, I am happy. If that happens I might just cancel and just wait as the T-100 is still purring along.

What if they picked up my vehicle and I couldn’t get ahold of them to finish the transaction? If I can’t reach them now, what confidence do I have in them?]. I sold to CarMax last Saturday after hearing nothing from and spending two hours on hold with Vroom.

I would have done the exact same thing. Sometimes taking a few less bucks along with less hassle and aggravation is worth it.
