Took delivery today. As promised here is a small review.
I wanted a new Gladiator but my local dealer wouldn't budge off MSRP. I found Koons here on the forum and gave them a shot. They destroyed my local dealer. I offered to split difference and they still wouldn't budge so I ordered from Koons. Will admit I was a little nervous about the operation but it worked out well. I would recommend Koons to anyone.
A few thing I learned: If you want courtesy delivery (to your local dealer) you MUST tell Koons before you order. I asked about it two days after order and it couldn't be changed. This mishap cost me $1,528 in shipping out of pocket. Koons will NOT ship a vehicle without 24 hr notice. Everyone knows how out of whack everything is right now and shipping is no different. Found a shipper that could pick it up Saturday but Koons would not ship it same day no matter how much I begged. Driver was cool enough to wait until Monday and it came today.
I used AmeriFreight for shipping and couldn't be happier.
Even with paying the extra for shipping Koons saved me $6,481 vs my local dealer whom, by the way, I purchased a brand new JLURD from less than two years ago.
did you choose open or closed trailer?

I didn't even know this was possible. Would be nice to e-sign everything and just pick it up down the street. Surprised a local dealer wouldn't charge something for it being on their lot for a day.

Other than that no issues with financing? How fast was your time in and out the door?

I'm getting so frustrated. I know it's how things have been the last couple of years but I'm so sick of this BS.

Im surprised they cant at least shed some light on what the hold up is on some of these builds. There really isn't a rhyme or reason seems like....

My est ship date was 02/20. But don't worry, been KZ since 02/22 chat says I should ship any day now.
The wait is full of ups and downs. Hopefully everyone gets theirs in a timely manner, but it seems to be all over the place.

More downs than anything ?. Me and a couple others just got the short end of the stick for whatever reason.

There is zero rhythm or reason apparent to the customer. There is probably a method to the madness, possibly logistical/supply based prioritization.

Just got updated to D1 status. Estimated delivery date 5/4, puts it right at 7 weeks. Let's hope it stays that way.
Where did you find your estimated delivery date?

Not sure what their method would be for having finished JT's sitting for months ready to ship and then having others built and get shipped right out while those built and sitting before still sit. All going to the same dealer.
