Hopefully you see some movement soon. Mine was ordered same day as yours and just received window sticker and delivery estimate this week.

Thanks and congrats on the movement of yours McDaddy, I sure hope so too! Yours was scheduled May 2, mine was May 17….I may be another 15 days out lol.
out of curiosity, did your order include the factory bed liner? I’ve seen some say that could be a hold up and others it didn’t seem to affect

Why is there a shortage of drivers? All the time I see ads looking for people with their CDL.
Same reason there's a shortage of a lot of other people........ every business around us has help wanted sign. I have friends who are professional drivers - and they keep talking about how hard it is for their companies to get drivers, and how many loads there are to haul.

That is so crazy. I don't understand why it's taking so long to rail ship vehicles which is probably how they go from OH to NM. Is there a shortage of rail cars? The dealership that I buy from in PA is just a few hours from Toledo so they get everything via a car hauler truck. A couple months ago they had a bunch of vehicles sitting anywhere from 30-45 days and the GM of the dealership emailed the district rep to see if he could get them delivered, and they were a couple of days later. When the truck driver came to the dealership, my salesman talked to the driver and he said that they were short about 50 drivers and had close to 500 vehicles sitting and waiting to be delivered. Why is there a shortage of drivers? All the time I see ads looking for people with their CDL. The dealership hates this wait for delivery and hates even more the wait it takes to build vehicles. They've had people order new Rams that took 6 months from order to delivery.
I’m at 3.5 months.

I find no specific pattern - those who have ordered those things have received their trucks in the middle of all of this. If it was really a hang-up, no one who ordered those should have received them. A lot of speculation out there but no one can point to any specific pattern or evidence.

This. I specifically mentioned this type of thing when ordering mine. The dealers rep said there were no delays currently on anything I ordered. Ordered both bed liner and mats. Why would they even schedule for production without the parts?

Well, my sales guy said my JTR is "rail loaded", no ETA yet.

My dealer just contacted me and said that I am scheduled to build on 6/15 and should be at dealership by 7/20. Hopefully his information is accurate.

People saw downsizing of packages, numbers of items in a package dropped, and people were tricked into thinking that things were fine, the manufacturers had not raised prices - so they were less evil.
1.5 quart ice cream containers drive me crazy!

Funny you should mention that.......... I have a few ice cream buckets dating back into the 1990s. I use them in the garden, raspberry picking, whatever. And I have kept the lids along with them (handy for putting cleaning solution in, put on the lids to keep pets out)
The differences in sizes is crazy.
The originals were something like a gallon and a quart, then they went to a gallon and a pint, then to a gallon. I'm not so sure the oldest ones weren't a gallon and a half (gallon and 2 quarts)
In that same time, the cost has gone from about $3 to over $6 per bucket.
I can't wait for the gallon of milk to become 3 quarts instead.

Ordered 4/26
Built 6/3
Shipped TBD
Estimated Delivery TBD(first day Jeep listed it as 7/14)

Looks like some folks which have similar build dates have estimated delivery dates in late June/early July. Wish I could pick up in Toledo and have my delivery charge back.

Good luck with that. That fee is not what it appears - investigations have shown it has little to do with actual shipping - at least not completely.
And you'll need to google how to get the Gladiator out of shipping mode. It's not complex, but it does vary a bit among the different models. Each company has their own ways of doing it, and even between Jeep models, it varies. Usually can be done inside from the driver's seat, some vehicles it's under the hood.

You'd likely want to trailer it home, not drive it home, from the plant, then go through all the checks, set tire pressures, check fluids (especially power steering - that thing can trap air for hours), or take tools and fluids with you.

I was mostly kidding. That's even possible?

No, it's not with Jeep. In fact, I'm not sure if any company still does that.
I know a lot of us wish we could - years ago, (make that decades ago LOL), I know some Corvette people did, AMC people did (now you know I mean decades ago).
I haven't heard of anyone doing it in a long time.
I did some digging into that fee a couple of years back, even the experts can't fully explain it. It's the same in the contiguous 48 states, higher in AK and HI (duh! LOL) so why does it cost the same to get a Gladiator from OH to IN as it does from OH to CA or WA? It doesn't, the fee is weird.
I have also wondered - if it was even possible, then how about the documentation, original title, all that stuff. I have dealing with the DMV, even though in Iowa it's not all that bad.........most of the time, but somehow you'd need to title it and so on - so do you get the stuff from the dealer and handle it, or still have them do all that?
In Iowa, the "doc fee" is set - no matter who you buy from, it's got to be the same amount - by law. So you'll pay that regardless.

Frankly, if it was possible, I'd love to go along with someone just to help and for the experience of doing such a thing. (I'd likely drag along tools - but could pare things down and drag along only metric sockets and wrenches, and my 250 pound/ft torque wrench)
