I am really looking forward to using the 67 Design Rail setup. However, since their iPad holders apparently take a month to ship, I'm going with a Ram mount for the iPad. Of course, 67d's Ram adaptor is "sold out."

Anyone know of any other solutions out there to use the 67d arm with a 1'' ball?

I futzed around for a while with alternatives to the 67 ball, for the rail. Ended up with a Ram Mount 1/4-20 threaded ball:

And these T-nuts for 1/4-20

Seems to be solid so far... You could probably mix and match any 1/4-20 threaded mounts with those T-nuts. They were the key for me. Couldn't find anything locally at the hardware stores that was small and thin enough to fit in the track.

My apologies, I wasn't clear. I am looking for a solution for the iPad side of the arm. The ball that will be on the back of the iPad holder is 1'' and the 67d arm only accepts a 20mm ball. The adaptor from 67d basically just converts one end of the arm to accept the 1'' ball.

Is there a solution for either a 20mm ball for the back of the Ram iPad mount, or a different adaptor for the 67d arm?

Good news! Spoke with 67d and they will have more available on the site this Friday.
