Those are on my list to buy, but my mod money was spent on my JL and two new Jeeps. Got to start saving again. They make a lot of sense.

I had a few guys at work who didn’t believe I actually took it on trails either because of the lack of scars prior to this weekend lol.
Haha a lack of pin stripes and scuffs is a sure sign of a lack of Ontario trail use! Nice JT.

Went wheeling in Ontario this past weekend and picked up my first couple scars. Adds character imo

Congrats on the trail rash! Any chance you could send a pic from the front or rear showing how far the tires stick out beyond the fenders?

While wheeling in TN & KY last weekend, there were a number of JTs of all trims. The event was the Jeep Jamboree Gateway to the Cumberlands. I took my JL 370 and was following a JTR when the rear smacked a tree and tore his tailight off and put a dent in his rear fender. Your damage is a lot worse. I think I'll keep the JL370 as my wheeler.
I was at Cumberlands as well. Great event, but those trails are no joke! Its been about 10yrs since we've been to that specific jamboree and forgot how much that town rolls out the red carpet and how fun/ hard the trails can be. We ran the harder 7-8 rated trails (Alcatraz and Test N Tune) in our 07 JKU and it came home with a few new scars after offroading upstream through creeks for two days. Had a blast!

I was surprised how many gladiators were at Cumberlands. We go to several different jeep jamborees and that event by far had the most Gladiators there in every configuration imaginable.

No kidding about that creek! We did Rock Bottom on day one and I bent my steering stabilizer and the Jeep wouldn't turn left. (Trail fix worked!) That's where the Gladiator ahead of me took body damage, and it was driven extremely well. Day 2 I did Red Bird for the scenery and meeting the family that has let JJ wheel on their private land for 30 years. I can't say enough about the town. Just an awesome weekend all around. If you saw a Punkn' AEV JL with the GR8PNKN license plate, that was mine.

I want to know what happened to the new Grand Cherokee TrailHawk 4Xe that was in the line up to head out on one of the trails. Hope the owner didn't do too much damage. THere was no trails rated below 4.

My hitch skid protects the rear area. Home made with 1/4 inch plate.

Ha! Well, we met you there and spoke actually. My wife was the one that just got the Punkn Mojave that we picked up in TN from Gupton on the way down. It was parked by its lonesome in the parking lot at trail check in. I think she talked to you at registration and I chewed your ear a bit in the parking lot the last night before dinner. Your Punkn JL caught both our attention.

We were wondering about that Cherokee too. However, we never heard anything about how it did on the trails.

We did Redbird 10yrs ago and it was a blast. I kind of regret not doing it again this past trip.

I have the 41.22 hitch slider. It took a beating but some rocks I couldn’t take straight down. That’s why I got the steel bumpers anyways

Not the totally derail this thread but we just booked Cumberlands JJ yesterday. I'd love to hear about the event from one of you via IM if possible. We were at Greenbrier the same weekend and a few mentioned it was worth going so we changed up next years trips.

Haha thank you. And it’s a 3.5” and the wheels and tires are 37’s on a 17” kmc grenade beadlock with a -38 offset

I guess because I keep mine generally clean they assume its another mall crawler LOL
I prefer Pavement Princess… and don’t really care what anyone thinks about me and mine.

If I didn’t ask their advice on what I buy, or for them to help pay for it, then clearly their opinions mean nothing.

I never took my Ram 4x4 off road the 11yrs I had it. But do plan on getting into some mild trailing with the Gladiator. No crawling, because I’m not interested in tearing things up or body damage. It’s my daily driver.
