I wanted my flag, nobody makes one.

So, let the hack begin.

Remove grill as instructions say, disassemble to install point.

1. Remove trail cam mount from factory grill.

2. Mark insert for size of remaining trail cam mount, then cut and remove. The metal cuts fairly easily.
3. Place insert in grill, install trail cam screws.
4.When installing to vehicle, ensure trail cam wire and washer tube are reattached. And not in the way of the retaining clips.
5. Install grill, make sure to seat all clips at bottom and reinstall push clips across top.
Done!

I’ve been wanting the same thing but I’m not brave enough to hack it up. Lol

It was nerve wracking but I got it cut out. Turned out pretty well I think

Looks great. I understand the nerve racking part. I dont even think about hacking on a new vehicle, most likely since I have been doing it to vehicles coming straight off the assembly line for 22 years.

Nicely done. I have a bolt hood lock installed so might do something similar. What brand/where did you get the flag from? I’ve seen some with pretty poor reviews as far as fitment.

I found an inexpensive one on Amazon since they are all pretty close to the same. And since I was gonna hack on it, I figured the cheaper the better.
