Same with drill ceremony with a 1903A3. That is shoulder and forearm pain like no other. :CWL:
I've done a few drills with 1903's not very many. I do want a 1917 Enfield since both of my grandfathers carried that rifle in WW1.

I bought a CMP 1911 for the same reason.
It was the sidearm in WWI, WWII, Korea and Vietnam during which time my grandfathers, my father and I served in the Army and is still used by some operators.

Excited. The upper will be here Monday and another YHM suppressor adapter / flash hider Wednesday or so.
In Dec. I decided to add a few a refresh on EDC RXM, and a heavy 20" barrel upper. Now I need another SiCo muzzle brake or flash. Preferably the latter. I don't remember if I posted the upper here.
Damn I need to go to a range that has some distance to push out to now. I've been out of the longer distance shooting for awhile.

I've had this lower for 15 years or so but its been through a couple uppers and stocks. Way back in the beginning it was a light weight build but its progressed into more like a DMR.

I dont remember if its been shot in this configuration. Better get on that.

I was finally able to source a original WW1 BAR forend and stock for our OOW BAR A3. My son did a WW1 doughboy impression over the Christmas break at Greenfield Village.

Also, I was able to replicate a WW2 "in theater" modification by certain Marine units with a vertical foregrip for added stability for our WW2 Marine impressions. Thought it came out well.

A couple of photos from the Ohio 2025 Re-enactment he was part of.

Cleaning it takes a lot of time. Hahaha

Such a fun gun to own and shoot.

Valentines day was good ‘to us’. 😆
Let‘s just say… we had some store credit after returning another toy.
A Canik Rival (polymer) to add to the fleet. We already have the S…and why we bought this one. 😉
Added another M&P 15-22 to the fleet. Now we have His & Hers….❤ The ‘his’ version (bought many years ago) needs a new upper, so he ordered a suppressed upper. 😎

Bring on the warm weather!!

😂 Attended GUN BINGO today….. The husband won an M&P Shield X and I won $250.😎

We both yelled Bingo at the exact same time!!! He won the tie-breaker!!!
The $250 was the 2nd chance drawing for those who lost the tie breakers.

I already EDC a Shield Plus… too bad the Shield X wouldn’t work in my holsters. I might’ve had to trade-up. 😎 I wonder if there’s a cash option. I could buy some goodies for my Canik. 😆

Just waiting on the suppressor adapter now.

Since tax stamps are $0 at the moment sort of considering just doing a Form 1 and making it an SBR instead of the current pistol form.

Ohh I like the way this is going.

😁Nice...
The husband bought one in December - he wanted to avoid the waiting times that would erupt in January. Sure...he paid the tax stamp, but the company he bought it from, offered $300 in merchandise. It was a win win!

He recently ordered a suppressed upper for the 15-22. That'll be a hoot!!

Supressors are so nice. We like being able to shoot on the property thats available to use without disturbing other folks as much.

Also makes dispatching problem critters a bit nicer.

I have the .30 cal suppressor and a .22 cal one as well.

My day didn’t exactly go as planned since one of my dogs tried to impale himself to death on a downed tree, but I did manage to shoot a little anyway.
