I was firing a 175 grain. Pretty standard for USMC ammo. I can’t find my data book but I remember it was around 0700-0730 and we had just awesome conditions for shooting. Overcast and just enough moisture in the air to track vapor trails all the way to target. We were shooting the M-24 or Remington 700P.

What's wild. Is when the sun is behind you and you catch the sun shining on the back of the bullet as it goes down range.

My son said they learned real quick to stand back and use the grenade launcher in the sandbox. those mud hut walls didn't stop frags coming back outside.

I don't know how I've missed this thread up till now....
I started with couple 9mm pistols, a couple ARs, a PCC. Ended up with 7 new guns in a year and half, that was getting expensive.
Earlier this year I got a 3D printer, really nice one, had heard guys were 3D printing gun parts and such so I started learning.
Now I have a new hobby...

The firearm is chambered in 9mm, has a 4.5" threaded barrel. The barrel, bolt, fire control group and hardware were all purchased.
The upper and lower receivers, hand guard, grip, and brace are all 3D printed.
The suppressor is 3D printed out of engineering grade filament - nylon carbon-fiber (PA6-CF). It's got a thread adapter to allow it to direct thread to the barrel.
Takes Glock Magazines, has a cheap Amazon Red Dot that needs me to zero it better.
It's tested through 75 rounds on the gun and 60 rounds on the suppressor.
The suppressor is legal and I have a form 1 for it.
The gun falls under privately made firearm law from the gun control act and is legal in my state due to having a rifled barrel, enough metal to set off a metal detector, and it looks like a firearm under an x-ray.
Other than some point of impact shift and me needing to dial in that cheap red dot, I call it a successful test.
This was the first, I have others either ready to test or in progress.

What are you using for a recoil system?
Looks good. Just to remember add a brace NOT a stock.

I built, pinned and welded a 14.5 Colt URGI a few years ago. I picked up a Colt 11.5 pistol a couple weeks ago, ordered some stuff for it, filed an SBR Form 1 last Saturday, approved a couple days later on Tuesday.
