Also Ordered 2/4 and got a message from Jeep Chat stating the build was finished 2/23. So 19 days is a pretty quick build.(JTRD) Calling Daniel tomorrow for shipping updates.

Aside from getting a great deal, has anyone gotten or requested any add ons or extra icing on the cake from the dealership?

I would like to know about this as well. I ordered mine Feb. 8th. I asked Daniel about adding the brake controller to the package and he said it wasn’t an option. But we didn’t discuss them adding at the dealership. I’d like to check on that and maybe some other things for when it gets delivered.
What are you wanting to add?

For some reason I didn't add the AUX switches but after seeing here some dealers were charging $1000 to buy and install, I'll just do it. Keep us posted on this you request. Im also doing the bedliner myself.
Oh and I also asked to add the AUX durning the factory build but it was too late as well.

I posted somewhere on here about being in D1 status for 16 of the 18 day build process. There were no live updates until I contacted jeep chat and they stated that the jeep was done. Im ok with no updates if its going to be that fast. You might want to try that or even better was
cryptostickers.net Its posted on here somewhere how to use it.

I added pretty much every option, minus accessories, because I knew I would be in the same situation regretting something in the end. I even had slush mats but decided to remove that. Hoping it will at least have carpet mats for now. Daniel even had the Bluetooth speaker on the final build sheet that I didn’t have. But I figured why not, since it will be pocket change on each payment. He probably thought the same thing and had others regret not adding it.

Yeah I didnt like that either. I asked and the dealer he said Jeep.com hasn't updated yet. He looked into it and said that's a new charge. Quotes from other dealers also had the upcharge. I went for it so they sell faster when I upgrade.
And living in FL, my engine heater is on there for when I'm back in NY and BC Canada.

Maybe they’ll just batching out colors in a specific sequence who knows. The lady I talked to was about as clueless a person as I’ve spoken to. Must have asked me if my city was Memphis four times ha

Also I had to order the black wheels. I’d rather have had to spent $200 on an MT tire with some sort of resale value

Important question?

What is every ones thoughts, that have ordered from far away flying to the dealer and driving home vs shipping.

For me the flight is 80$ one way but 900Mile drive home. 11 hrs
Shipping is around $600 (online search) which is doable if i go that route.

Do you feel its necessary to travel to the dealer to take deliver or will I be good to go if I have it shipped. Will I miss out on any details, info, inspections etc?
