Exactly. Hope that battery is the correct type - an AGM.......... they are not free-vented. You just don't see that sort of thing with AGM batteries. I've never had a Jeep battery terminal corrode at all.If the corrosion returns you might have a slight crack in the top of your battery case, this happened to me and the corrosion kept returning.....it turns out I had to replace the battery due to a slight crack on the top of the battery case (barely visible) that allowed battery vapors to escape and repeatedly caused corrosion on one of my battery terminals. Ended up having to replace the battery and the affected battery cable due to it being deteriorated too much.
In fact......these terminals on my car battery have not been cleaned in over 6 years -
