Lets tone down the hostility in here.

fact 1
Some people are not happy with the function of their climate control.
fact 2
Some people are very happy with the function of their climate control.
fact 3
The majority of people who are happy won't be in a thread where the general complaint is not one they share.

Theory 1
Those without a problem who are posting are probably trying to help diagnose or determine if they actually do share this issue and if it is an issue to them. Maybe the Jeep method of climate control isn't the same as the previous brand, remember this is theory.

Steps to a solution.
Who has had their vehicle in to the dealer for this issue in the last month?
Did they check for a TSB or software update?

The first step to narrowing this down might be comparing software versions. to get into dealer/engineering mode on the JT you need to push the heat up arrow+ cool down arrow+ defrost all at the same time and hold for a 5-10 sec. The new menu under system information will have the software build version and dates. Here is mine. My jeep works as designed and just like the other Mopar products I've had with auto climate control.

Someone with the issue post your info and see if there is a disconnect in the software.

My rubicon was built early nov and has the dual auto climate and 8.4 radio

When I press those 3 buttons I get this... what am I doing incorrectly?

Im beginning to think of this issue as a feature rather than a problem. If I let it blow hot air when we first get in on these frigid days it warms up inside really quick. Then turn temp down to 65 and back up to 72-74 and all is well

We have different radio versions. Mine is the 8.4 yours looks like a 7. Some of those are features.

When I fire mine up with auto start it blows as hard as possible till the driver door is opened especially when cold. I usually am driving before the water temp gets enough to run the heater well. If it hasnt warmed up to the 68 ish I keep it at it will crank up to full throttle once the heat is available which feels too hot for a min or two till the ambient temp raises then it dials back down to a very low and mostly underseat heat.

Is this in AUTO or MANUAL mode?

Auto.
In manual, once the engine warms up, the temp up down works as you would expect and so does the fan speed. I rarely use manual as auto works perfectly I just set it to a comfortable level and rarely touch it.

His description is a lot like mine. Not sure mine is exactly like his part here:
>>If it hasnt warmed up to the 68 ish I keep it at it will crank up to full throttle once the heat is available which feels too hot for a min or two <<
But it's pretty darned close to how mine works if not the same.

I keep mine in auto unless I need defrost - then I run defrost long enough to clear things up, and turn defrost off and auto takes over again.

I did measure my air coming out of the vents but it was with an instant digital meat thermometer i use for grilling so its probably not the most accurate source.

So far I have seen a lot of "blows 60" or "blows 90" but has anyone actually MEASURED, or is it they are simply using big numbers that sound cold or hot?
Once it stops blowing warm air to heat the cabin up to the set temp, it will mix, or SHOULD mix, and it will feel cold because it's no longer hot.
We really only have perceptions until someone comes forward with the issue and the facts - actual temperatures.
Otherwise it's all based on whatever someone believes the temp to be, or their perception of cold or hot - and those are the facts.

Even a dealership shop is not going to touch it without measuring the air temp coming out. Anything else is simply guessing.
Solutions require troubleshooting based on facts and evidence.
Try to deny that. I'll show any number of service manuals to support it.

If you start searing, you know the air coming out is too hot!

I have one that I used when I worked on automotive HVAC back in the 80s, then I have several glass thermometers I used in my plating baths, and one of the digital laser thermometer that would work for the duct and vent but not the air as it targets "things".
Mine works very well so I've not bothered actually testing the air coming out.

We were driving in, through, and against 45+ mph winds tonight and it was 5 degrees out so now and then we felt "whiffs" of cool air in the cab - but that could happen with most vehicles with winds and cold like we have here now. the wind was so strong I had to really hold the wheel to keep on the road and the thing never left 6th gear going 60mph - not enough power to upshift against the winds.
VERY glad I'm not an OTR driver today.

On the middle knob (controls fan speed) - labeled “off/auto” is the auto light illuminated?
