Well here it is, Hellcat powered Gladiator in the works by Dynatrac. 707 buff horses in the ultimate freedom machine.

Our first stop with the Dynatrac CODEX Jeep Gladiator was America's Most Wanted 4x4 in Holly, Michigan, for a Mopar Hellcat Crate engine installation! That's just one of the wild modifications in store for this Jeep JT truck -- stay tuned for what comes next!

Tony Carvallo from Dynatrac explains the vision and the plan for the Dynatrac CODEX Jeep Gladiator. Part overlander, part pre-runner. All performance with a Mopar HellCat crate engine, Saavy suspension with Rock Krawler and FOX components and, of course, Dynatrac ProRock axles.

Probably not what you think of when you picture building an awesome pre-runner and overlanding Jeep Gladiator truck, but the team at America's Most Wanted 4x4 cut this brand new truck in half. The master plan for the Dynatrac CODEX Jeep Gladiator includes shortening the wheelbase, remove the rear doors and shortening the cab and installing a Patriot Campers camping and cargo module in place of the bed.

Tony Carvallo from Dynatrac explains the frame work and extensive body modifications that are happening at America's Most Wanted 4x4 in Holly, MI. Shorter wheelbase. Shorter cab. Shorter hardtop. Longer days as the team wraps up day 5 of this project.

The team at America's Most Wanted 4x4 completed the Mopar Hellcat crate motor swap with the help of HP Tuners, shortened the frame and body to create a shortened wheelbase, 2-door Jeep truck and buttoned things up so we could drive it across country for Phase 2 of the build at Dynatrac in Huntington Beach, CA. 2,300 miles to go!

I don't plan on chopping anything but I do have every intention of putting a hellcrate engine in it and the 6 speed to match before it ever sees my driveway. (Mainly because the wife doesn't need to know what engine is in it):whew:

They should of made it a long bed instead of chopping the frame.

Damn, that thing sounds amazing! Now I need to put off purchasing a JT longer so I can also afford to put that motor in it...

I get that they probably chopped the frame so they wouldnt have to mess with extending the bed, but a proper 6' would have been awesome.

Now if jeep would stop ignoring the fact that people are sinking 100k+ into these things just to get something that should have been available from the factory and you know...make a hemi available from the factory.

Looks great! Anyone know what size tires they are running for Phase 1? I know they are Milestars but what size? I'm sure they will go bigger with suspension work coming up but I think what they have looks great and is about what I'm considering. Got to keep it reasonable for towing.

Seems like they could've gotten the same result by just modifying + adding a bed to a JL. Why buy a Gladiator with a 137" wheelbase just to chop it down to match a JL's 120" wheelbase?
