They gave me their own estimate:

I wonder how long it'll take them to realize it's the wrong bumper. You have an extra tow hook. The plastic sport one needs cut for that. It won't even fit without modification. yes, a lot of owners do that modification on their own, but as soon as they try to install it, they're going to realize they need to cut another hole on the other side.Essentially they are trying to pay me out for a plastic bumper and are refusing to replace the hitch receiver. I had a hitch cover that was destroyed and the hitch has scratches on it, so I want it replaced. They are claiming the damage isn't bad enough to replace
This is 100% the best course of action! You’re screwing yourself on labor and the chance you find more damage later. Take it to a qualified shop and let them look at it and have them write the estimate and send that to their company. Then if you chose to do the work yourself you just made a good chunk of change
My 21 rubicon has a plastic rear bumperYour rear is plastic? The rear is standard in metal. At least, it is now. I don't know when it started being standard, but the the only optional one is the front one now.
The top step part is plastic the bottom is metal. All Rubicon's came with the steel rear with the bed side rock rails. My 21 rubicon has a plastic rear bumper
The Jeep site indicates they all do, in the rear, with front metal being optional. I haven't paid much attention to any Rubicon other than my own, and the Jeep site has shown errors before, though. But it's said this at least since I bought mine, so I hope they'd have fixed it in 2 model years. So the part, if for a Rubi, should be metal, unless jeep.com is wrong (again). The step part is plastic, but the bumper itself is metal. Also I don't think all rubicon's have steel bumpers: this is part number the insurance company quoted. It looks identical but it's different. The steel bumper has torx bolts into the bottom of the hitch receiver which the plastic ones do not.
There is no option to add the steel rear bumper on the rubicon when building on jeeps website at least on the landing site I get. (USA) it’s standard on all of the rubicon’s I have seen and was standard on mine. Also I don't think all rubicon's have steel bumpers: this is part number the insurance company quoted. I stand corrected you are right. Just looked so damn cheap I thought it was plastic lol.The top step part is plastic the bottom is metal. All Rubicon's came with the steel rear with the bed side rock rails.
Do you not have the bed side rear protectors too?
I cant ignore this...what????Tell them you want new batteries as well. EVERY small rear end I've been, the battery failed shortly after.
