I'm sure that the actions described are just talk, it merely points out the how he feels about about it. That being said, why aluminum? Will wood work any better.

I've got 10 tires on a Peterbilt they can try their hand at deflating with a knife. I hope they can use both left and right hands as they'll need the other after their attempts....

Your case could be a bigger problem, cut an air line, pull pin on fifth wheel ,knock a hole axle cap. I sure hope you do a pre and post trip unlike my drivers that just jump in and out not even opening the hood on a daily basis.

Your case could be a bigger problem, cut an air line, pull pin on fifth wheel ,knock a hole axle cap. I sure hope you do a pre and post trip unlike my drivers that just jump in and out not even opening the hood on a daily basis.

When I was driving, pre and post trip logs were a requirement and failure to produce them are grounds for immediate termination.

My tongue in cheek post comment….puncturing a DOT tire on a tractor will release 125 psi or more unregulated and can blow your hand off.

Unfortunately these days with ELD I am using this word very loosely drivers don't have a clue. With the driver shortage a body is a body.
